*Job Description* Time Type: Part timeRole Details: *Time Type: Part Time* *Starting Pay: $17 / HR* *Job Location: 3428 North Wood Drive, Okmulgee, OK 74447* Job Summary: The Yard Crewmember will assist customers in the lumberyard, operate a forklift, stock products, and provide general store support. Supervisory Responsibilities: * None. Duties/Responsibilities: * Greets customers as they enter the yard. * Loads and unloads products into customers, vendors, and company vehicles safely and accurately. * Responds to customer's questions regarding products. * Informs store management or supervisor of any customer complaints or requests in a timely manner. * Moves, stocks, and rearranges building materials in the yard, warehouse, and interior of store. * Performs routine safety checks on forklifts according to company guidelines. * Maintains the cleanliness and appearance of the lumberyard and warehouses, by stacking products squarely and picking up bands, chocks, and trash. * Verifies customer or vendor ticket matches the merchandise that is being loaded. * Covers exposed materials, when required, to prevent weather damage. * Cuts lumber and other related materials as requested by the customer. * Operates a forklift. * Attends all store meetings and training sessions. * Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: * Ability to carry out a series of instructions without constant supervision. * Able to remain professional and courteous at all times. * Knowledge of weight distribution and loading patterns. * The ability to adjust the controls of a machine or vehicle quickly and repeatedly to exact positions. * Must successfully complete all company training and certification requirements regarding equipment usage, including obtaining McCoy's forklift certification. Education and Experience: * A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. * Forklift operator certification. * Successful completion of on-the-job training; completing levels 1 and 2 of the positional training offered. Physical Requirements: * Prolonged periods of standing and moving around the yard and warehouse. * Must be able to use the three point hold when getting into trucks and/or forklifts. * Must be able to lift up to 80 pounds at times, occasionally lift/move up to 100 pounds, and push and/or pull 50 pound loads at a time. * The ability to perform repetitive movements over long periods. * May need to work overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays. * Must be able to work in various types of weather. Job Posting The Muscogee Creek Nation Department of Health (MCNDH) security officers are employed to protect lives and physical property. Their main duty is to enforce the rules, regulations and procedures of the MCNDH. Security officers are to control access and prevent trespass, loss or damage to the MCNDH property. Represent the MCNDH by providing guidance to authorized visitors and other MCNDH property. Manage traffic flow and deter criminal activity on the MCNDH property. Work is performed in an office environment when documenting and filing reports. Primary duties are performed inside and outside of the clinical facilities and on the clinic grounds. Risk of potential exposure to hostile individuals and situations, infectious diseases, smoke, fire, outside weather, etc. Physical demands of the position required: continuous standing, walking, stooping, bending, kneeling, climbing and working within small or cramped quarters. Duties may include carrying, lifting, pulling or pushing parts and equipment weighing up to and at times beyond 50 pounds.
