Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information JobPulse ("we", "us") collects when you use our job search service, how we use it, and the choices you have. JobPulse is operated by Talentify, Inc DBA JobPulse, 37 N Orange Ave. Suite 222, Orlando, FL 32801.

What we collect

• Browsing and usage data. When you visit, we record the pages you view, the job listings shown to you, and the listings you click, along with your device's browser type and a one-way scrambled version of your IP address, which we use to spot automated traffic rather than to identify you.
• Cookies and similar storage. We set a session cookie (jl_sid, 30 days) to recognize your browser across visits, a short-lived attribution cookie (jl_attr, 30 minutes) that remembers which ad or link brought you to us, and an experiment cookie (jl_exp) that keeps the version of the site you see consistent. Your browser's local storage remembers which jobs you already viewed (30 days) so we can mark them for you. We do not run third-party advertising cookies on our pages.
• Email address — if you sign up for job alerts, or if you previously gave your address to another service operated by Talentify, Inc. and asked to hear about job opportunities. In both cases every email we send carries a one-tap unsubscribe link that takes effect straight away, and tells you which address it was sent to. A subscription you start here begins immediately.
• What we record with your job-alert signup. If you sign up for alerts, we save alongside your email address, at that moment: the approximate city, state and time zone estimated from your IP address; your device type (mobile, tablet or desktop); which ad, link or search brought you to us; and the general categories of the job listings you clicked during that visit (for example “customer service” or “work from home”). We use this to choose which jobs to send you and when to send them, so the emails are relevant rather than generic. We do not store your precise location, your street address, or your raw IP address — only the one-way hashed version described above.
• What we keep about you over time. While you are subscribed, we keep a record of the alert emails we sent you and which job listings you clicked, including listings you clicked on this site on visits we can connect to your subscription. We use it to choose better jobs for you and to understand which listings are worth sending at all. It is a record of what we sent and what you clicked here — not a profile assembled from anywhere else, and we neither buy nor sell information about you.
• Company logos loaded from our partner networks. Some job listings display the employer's logo, which your browser loads directly from the job network's image service. That request tells the network your IP address and device type. No cookies are set by these images.

How we use it

• To show you relevant job listings and improve how we rank them.
• To measure which listings are seen and clicked, and to detect automated traffic.
• To send job alert emails you asked for (every email includes one-click unsubscribe), and to personalize them — choosing which listings to include, and what time of day to send, based on the signup details described above.
• To measure advertising: if you arrived from a Google ad, we report the click identifier (gclid) and the outcome back to Google Ads so our advertising can be measured.

Who we share it with

• Job networks. When you click Apply, you leave our site and continue on the job network or employer site hosting the listing (for example our partner networks). Their privacy policies govern what they collect from that point on.
• Google Ads — advertising click identifiers and conversion outcomes, as described above.
• Service providers that host our infrastructure: website hosting (Vercel), database (Supabase), and email delivery (Resend). They process data for us and may not use it for their own purposes.
• AI job matching (Anthropic). To choose which listings go in your alert emails, we send an AI service the kinds of work you have clicked, the titles and employers of listings you clicked, your stated preference, and your metro area — never your email address or anything that identifies you. Anthropic processes this for us, does not use it for its own purposes, and does not train its models on it.

We do not sell your personal information for money.

Your choices and rights

• Unsubscribe from job alerts anytime via the link in any alert email.
• Clear or block cookies in your browser settings; the site works without them.
• California residents may request access to, or deletion of, their personal information under the CCPA/CPRA. Contact us at hello@jobpulse.ai and we will respond within the legally required time. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

Data retention

Usage records are kept for as long as needed for the measurement purposes above. Alert subscriptions are kept until you ask us to delete them — unsubscribing stops the emails but keeps the subscription on file so we know not to mail you again. You can request deletion at any time using the contact below.

Unsubscribing and deletion are different, and we would rather be exact about which you get. Unsubscribing stops the emails and takes effect immediately, but it keeps your subscription on file so we know not to mail you again. Asking us to delete you removes it — your email address, your subscription, the record of the alerts we sent you, your address anywhere it appears in our email delivery logs, the record of your visits to this site, and the hashed IP address and browser-session identifier attached to listings you clicked.

Two things survive deletion, and we would rather name them than imply nothing does. We keep the record that a click happened — its date, the listing, and what it earned — because our partner networks were billed for it and it forms part of our financial records; after deletion that record carries nothing that points back to you. And if you had previously reported our email as spam or your address had permanently bounced, we keep a one-way scrambled fingerprint of the address so it can never be added back and mailed again by mistake. It cannot be turned back into your address, and it is used for nothing else.

Children

Our service is intended for people of legal working age and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. Significant changes will be noted on this page.
