Warehouse Associate A Warehouse Associate is responsible for their portion of the warehouse functions. This role will be accountable for the suitable handling and processing of all orders received in the picking, scanning, shipping, receiving and/or returns area. Though each associate is assigned to a section of the warehouse, all are trained in the various areas and work where needed most as directed by their supervisor. HOURS: 7:00 am - 3:45 pm | Monday - Friday with overtime as needed Essential Functions To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function. • Safely pull, process, and perform inspections of materials, supplies, tools, fixtures, and part and complete required paperwork. • Accurately record quantities selected (or shorted) maintaining the company standard error rate. • Move materials within the warehouse and assist in other warehouse activities as directed by Supervisor or Manager. • Move freight, stock, and other materials to and from staging and processing areas. • Read work orders and/or receive verbal instructions for work assignments. • Fill and complete order receipts. • Transport filled orders to and from shipping area. • Maintain good housekeeping and regularly clean work area, machines, and equipment. • Identify and contribute to continuous improvement efforts to reduce costs or increase productivity without reducing effectiveness. • Maintain an open and candid working relationship with immediate supervisor/manager in discussing matters of importance. • Adhere to established company values, practices, policies, and procedures at all times. Follow and support compliance with all applicable safety rules, laws, regulations, and standards and maintain clean and orderly work area. • Demonstrate regular and punctual attendance at the assigned work location. Minimum Experience, Education, and Certifications An individual qualified for this job must have and maintain the following qualifications: • At least 6 months experience in a warehouse setting is preferred. Cleans and services assigned areas of the facility in a timely manner by using established procedures to ensure a safe and sanitary environment for patients, customers, and staff. 2. Maintains and operates equipment safely, such as carts, buckets, vacuums, buffers, and extractors, to ensure thorough cleaning of the facility. Promptly reports any equipment needing repairs so it may be serviced and returned to use as soon as possible. 3. Mixes and uses chemicals and products, such as disinfectants, glass cleaners, acids, solvents, strippers, finishes, etc., according to manufacturer's directions and department procedures to ensure products are used at the proper dilution and appropriate applications. Sorts and places clean linen into appropriate shelves and exchange carts to be delivered to ensure patient care areas have an adequate linen supply at assigned facilities. 5. Stocks linen supply to patient care areas to ensure linen par levels are met and maintained at assigned facilities. Responds in a timely manner to requests for additional linens. 6. Performs daily cleaning of the linen storage and distribution area at assigned facilities to ensure a clean environment. Includes cleaning and disinfecting of all work surfaces, daily dust mopping and mopping of floors, and weekly high dusting of vents and ledges. 7. Reports any problems, deficiencies, or incomplete linen tasks to team leader or next shift, as appropriate. 8. Completes verbal or written work assignments, including incomplete work, problems, and issues, and submits to supervisor in a timely and effective manner to ensure proper documentation and resolution of problems or issues. 9.
