About The Role Control the inflow and outflow of items and materials throughout the facilities. Hands on functions will include but are not limited to the receiving, inspection, identification, inventory, accountability, issuing, storing, and kitting of materials. Your Responsibilities • Verify, inspect, receive, and store material in organized manner • Package, label and warehouse items • Process and kit items as needed • Operate forklift to move heavy items to their required destination, as needed • Perform cycle counts and ensure all items are accounted for and reported timely & accurately • Report abnormalities, reconcile differences and notify others of discrepancies for corrections in the ERP system. What We're Looking For • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a similar role • Prior experience in manufacturing environment • High School diploma or equivalent • Associate or bachelor's degree preferred • Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50lbs within 8-hour shift. • Ability to operate forklift, drive truck, and pull goose neck trailer. • Experience in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel • Highly motivated individual with the ability to work independently • Clearly able to communicate across departments within the organization • Meticulous attention to detail • Excellent communication skills internally and externally • Proficiency in Syteline, or similar ERP systems. Responsibilities • Issue material to plant wide personnel and accurately perform system transactions. • Dispense inventory parts and supplies to employees. • Review and receive purchase orders and follow up on status. May enter information into the computer system (Epicor). • Communicate potential supply problems to Manager or Supervisor and purchasing department. • Maintain shortage log and kitting schedule for issuing of certain production components. • Ensures Shelf accuracy by routinely verifying part quantities, correcting misplaced items, and keeping storage areas organized to support efficient kitting operations. • Other duties as required and assigned.
