ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Assembles component parts using a variety of hand tools. • Pin obsidian plug to ensure components are aligned and in place. • Pill slips for assembly. • Final trim if needed. • Maintains a clean work area. • Perform work safely. • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. • Record time in Mercury. • Perform all tasks as required of a Safety Sensitive position. OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Work as a team to meet daily goals • Collaborate with co-workers to problem solve QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: • Basic math skills • Familiar with hand tools, bench equipment • Basic verbal and written communication skills • Reading comprehension skills • Ability to work independently or in a team environment • Able to exercise good judgement • Ability to contribute towards the success of a team PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS • Moderate physical effort required. • Frequent standing • Prolonged sitting • Repetitive motion of finger, wrist, elbow, shoulder or neck movement • Frequent use of finger tips • Lifting up to 20 pounds from floor to waist • Ability to speak clearly • Reaching/lifting while holding objects weighing up to 20 pounds • Seeing to visually inspect, measure/assemble at a close distance WORK ENVIRONMENT/ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS: • Inside manufacturing facility in a climate controlled environment • Occasional exposure to hazardous chemicals, fumes and gases • High noise level SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION: • This position is designated as a Safety Sensitive Position as defined by the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana and Patient Protection Act. Shift: Monday and Friday- Days Job Summary: Provides support to the Staff Technologist by assisting with accessioning and documentation of exam order, positioning of the patient, performing related functions and clerical duties. Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED. Licensure, Registration and/or Certification: CPR Certification preferred. Work Experience: 0 - 6 months related experience. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Access as might be used in the preparation of correspondence and reports. Effective interpersonal, written and oral communication skills. Ability to organize and prioritize work in an effective and efficient manner. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Provides assistance to technologist in positioning and immobilizing the patient during radiographic examinations, either in the radiology department or at the patient's bedside utilizing basic skills and knowledge. Accessions exam orders to properly reflect the procedure performed using the electronic medical record. Performs procedural tasks such as CR processing, patient transporting, related clerical duties and special assignments when necessary. Utilizes hospital/department communications, telephone, computer, and paging appropriately. Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills with patients, visitors, physicians, co-workers and hospital personnel. Highly motivated in providing excellent customer service to all. Supports department/hospital goals through PI and educational activities. Attends mandatory in-service and meets department educational standards. Modifies behaviors or performance to comply with care standards and department requirements. Independent judgment in making minor decisions where alternatives are limited and standard policies/protocols have been established. Working Relationships: Works directly with patients and/or customers. Works with internal customers via telephone or face to face interaction. Works with other healthcare professionals and staff.
