Delivery Driver As a Delivery Driver, you will be provided with a company van and a company phone to assist with GPS navigation and communication. Your responsibilities include loading your delivery vehicle, safely operating a Sprinter Van with a weight rating of up to 10,000 pounds, following all safety regulations, and using GPS and electronic devices for navigation and communication. Drivers must be able to work independently, follow detailed instructions without constant supervision, maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment, and provide excellent customer service in all conditions, including varying weather and traffic. Drivers can work full-time (typically 4 days a week, 10-hour shifts) or part-time (typically 2 days a week, 10-hour shifts). You are expected to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, in order to interact with the public, respond to official inquiries, and complete logs and reports accurately. You must also be able to maintain a positive, professional attitude with customers, coworkers, managers, and Amazon employees. General responsibilities include adhering to strict safety and quality standards, completing safety inspections on your company vehicle, following all local and state driving laws, maintaining a clean, fueled, and operational vehicle, assisting other drivers with rescue routes when needed, and performing additional tasks at the delivery station as assigned.
