The New Jersey Judiciary is seeking an Administrative Specialist 1 for the Quantitative Research Unit of the Data Analytics, Research, and Statistics (DARS) officeThe selected individual will enter data into, produce reports on, and validate statistical information on judicial reporting and reserved matters. The selected individual will also assist the Chief in reviewing and editing internal and external publications to ensure adherence to the Unit's internal style guide. This position will benefit from a detail-oriented person with Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and data entry experience. The selected candidate will also assist in modernizing the monthly statistical reporting, analyzing statistical trends, and analyzing interactive dashboards. REMOTE WORK: The Judiciary currently offers a hybrid work schedule, and this position may qualify for up to 3 days of remote work outside of Judiciary buildings. Example of Duties • Enters data into a front-end system. Produces and validates reports from the system. Recommend updates and improvements to the system, as needed. • Collects monthly reports, collates and analyzes them, including validating Tableau or PowerBI dashboards. • Reviews reports for grammar and style and ensures the internal Style Guide is applied to reports. • Reviews new and existing reports and works with the relevant teams to ensure that the reports meet both style and accessibility standards. • Tracks incoming statistical and research requests and conducts quality control on the reports. • Provides input into the design of additional data dashboards and new and ad hoc statistical reports. • Collaborates with the Information Technology Office and Automated Trial Court Services Unit on plans for data system updates, as needed. • Documents data analysis and reporting techniques to ensure they can be replicated. • Facilitates the reporting of New Jersey statistics to internal and external stakeholders.
