Spirit Commercial designs and builds commercial aerostructures, including for Boeing Commercial Airplanes, one of Boeing's three business units and the premier manufacturer of commercial jetliners for decades. Spirit Commercial's core products include fuselages, pylons, nacelles and wing components, with a focus on innovative composite and aluminium manufacturing solutions.Position ResponsibilitiesLead, coach, and develop a team of overhead crane operators and support personnel to safely achieve production objectives.Promote and enforce a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with company policies, OSHA requirements, and safe operating procedures.Drive daily execution by managing workflow, staffing, and priorities to meet customer and operational commitments.Conduct regular floor presence (Gemba) to identify safety concerns, remove barriers, and support employees.Monitor key performance indicators including safety, quality, productivity, downtime, and labor efficiency.Hold employees accountable through timely coaching, feedback, performance discussions, and recognition.Partner with Maintenance, Operations, Shipping, and other departments to ensure efficient material flow and customer service.Manage attendance, scheduling, overtime and staffing to meet business needs.Foster a positive, inclusive work environment built on teamwork, accountability, and continuous learning.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)3 years experience in manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, or industrial operations.Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)Experience with overhead crane operations, material handling, or logistics.Experience leading teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Drug Free WorkplaceWe are a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Pay & BenefitsWe strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
