This position will assist participants in finding and maintaining competitive employment that is consistent with their vocational goals. The IPS Employment Specialist will perform work from the offices of a partnering behavioral health agency as well as GCI offices. What You'll Do: • Supports participants enrolled in Individual Placement Support (IPS) Services program. • Manages a caseload of program participants as determined by supervisor. • Develops and builds partnerships with community employers and resources. • Assists participants in building and executing their ISP (Individual Service Plan) including employment preparation, job development, and employment retention. • Works with program participants to complete resumes, applications, and cover letters. • Adheres to the core principles of IPS which include: A focus on competitive employment, rapid job search, eligibility based on client choice, attention to client's preferences in employment services and supports, the integration of employment and clinical services, time-unlimited support, and systematic job and employer relationship development. • Conducts job development and job search activities directed toward positions that are individualized to the interests and uniqueness of the people on their case load, following the principles and procedures of IPS supported employment. • Provides ongoing support to participants once employment is obtained to ensure participant success in their job, including on-site support and 1-1 coaching sessions. • Maintains regular communication, engagement, and meetings with the participant's care teams and mental health providers. • Facilitates open and frequent communication with the Vocational Skills Manager and Mental Health Treatment Team. • Creates and maintains appropriate documentation to meet funding, program, and reimbursement requirements. • Performs other duties as assigned. What you'll need: • Bachelor's degree in human services, business, education, marketing, sales, human resources, or related field from an accredited college. • Two years' experience working with people with severe mental illness and/or history of substance abuse and experience providing employment and job placement services is preferred. • Experience partnering and/or referring agencies such as behavioral health agencies, IVRS (Iowa Vocational Rehabilitation Services), MCOs (Managed Care Organizations), DHS (Department of Health and Human Services), and other local and state resources. • Must be able to obtain First Aid/CPR certification. • Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal formats. • Must be able to perform basic math. • Access to reliable transportation for regular participation in work. • Possession of valid Iowa Driver's License, a good driving record, insurable, and able to provide proof of personal vehicle insurance with a minimum of $100,000 per person and $300,000 per accident auto insurance liability coverage. • Must be able to pass a criminal background check and dependent adult and child abuse background check. NRMs supervise thefreight unload, pack out, and pack down processes. NRMs communicate priorities, ensure nightly tasks are completed, and freight is moving smoothly throughout the store. This position will be expected to teach, coach, and train associates on The Home Depot policies and procedures and ensure all associates are working in a safe manner all the time. At times, NRMs may be the only Manager available and will be expected to make business and associate decisions in partnership with appropriate resources and following SOPs. NRMs will provide input to Store Manager and Assistant Store Managers on Associates performance through the ongoing performance management and talent planning discussions. Although the NRM does not have direct reports, they will participate in the selection process as needed. Key Responsibilities: • 25% - People - Provide in the moment coaching based on observations and behavior. Partners with Night Operations ASMs regarding formal performance conversations and discipline. Recognizes associates for demonstrating expectations. Use recognition tools (BRAVO / Homer) to highlight associates demonstrating values-based behaviors and productivity. Conduct quality walks of recently completed tasks. Walk off-shelf merchandising locations; ensure areas are set according to MAP or regional direction. Ensure associates have completed training requirements of position. Give input to Night Operations ASM on associate performance and participate in talent planning for all hourly associates. Assist SM and Night Operations ASM with associate interview and hiring process. Direct supervision of the Consistent Unload, Directed Packout, and Purge Pack down processes. Execute Quality Walks to ensure associates are completing the Packout process correctly. Ensure all trucks and trailers are received and unloaded timely and efficiently. Ensure all freight is packed out or placed in overhead quickly and efficiently. Ensure that all trash is cleaned up and the store is Grand Opening ready at the end of the shift. Prioritize and communicate messages and tasks to all associates and leaders in store. • 25% - Safety - Ensure associates follow all safety and hazmat procedures and Safety Matters guidelines at all times. Complete specified safety training courses applicable to role and follow all prevention policies and procedures. Use Proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and guide associates on proper use. Utilize proper lifting techniques and educate store associates on these practices. Obey the required safe distances around Lift Equipment and guide other associates on the correct policies. Adhere to work rules identified in Standard Operating Procedures and inform store associates on these rules. Immediately correct unsafe conditions and offer assistance to customers who are shopping in an unsafe manner; ensure that aisles and flooring surfaces are safe. Ensure associates complete all store checklist in accordance with timing expectations. Provide input to associates, verify issue correction, and preventative action in put in place. Recognize store associates for safe behavior. • 25% - Shared Manager On Duty - Perform Closing and MOD tasking as well as other whole store focus responsibilities. Conduct hand-off walk with the prior MOD before their shift ends; identify areas for focus or follow-up. Validate daily store priorities with ASMs and SMs. Ensure associates complete all store checklists in accordance with timing expectations. Provide input to associates, verify issue correction, and preventative action is put in place. Make sure all equipment and machines are functioning properly. Review current and upcoming events and ads to determine if any action is required; partner with appropriate DS or ASM as required. As a Component Technician, you will work in our lab manufacturing whole blood donations into transfusable components (red cells, platelets, and plasma), playing a central role in the lifesaving process for patients in our communities. The manufacturing process involves the use of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and equipment, such as centrifuges. Component Technicians are also heavily involved in instrument quality control and maintenance. Shift: • Monday - Thursday 10pm - 830am • Full time Compensation: • Wages start around $18.75/hour. • This position is eligible for a $4 shift differential applied to work after 6pm and before 6am.
