UNM Golf Courses is looking for enthusiastic, detail-oriented individuals to join our dynamic team as Customer ServiceAssociates (CSAs). Whether you're assisting a first-time visitor or a seasoned golfer, every day offers a new opportunity to make a lasting impression. Our courses are buzzing with energy all year round, offering an 18-hole Championship Course just south of UNM's campus and a 9-hole North Course just north of UNM Hospital. As a CSA, you'll play an integral role in ensuring the smooth operation of our golf courses, from processing transactions for green fees, memberships, and merchandise to answering customer questions and maintaining inventory. You'll help keep the pro shop running efficiently while providing exceptional service to golfers of all levels. We're looking for someone who: Has prior golf course customer service experience and thrives in a fast-paced environment Can handle various tasks including sales, stock control, and inventory management Is ready to bring their energy and attention to detail to our team The ideal candidate must: Be available to work 2-3 days a week Be flexible to work on weekends, holidays, and/or split shifts as needed Be eager to contribute to a vibrant, year-round operation UNM Golf Courses are open 363 days a year, from sunrise to sunset, only closing for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and inclement weather days. Line Cook Position We're looking for a skilled and motivated Line Cook to join our kitchen team. Responsibilities • Prepare, season, and cook menu items following Friendly Confines' recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines. • Work multiple stations on the line (grill, sauté, fry, pantry, etc.) as needed. • Ensure food is consistently prepared, cooked to proper temperatures, and delivered to the pass in a timely manner. • Assist with daily prep tasks (chopping, marinating, portioning, etc.) to keep stations stocked and ready. • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized work station throughout service. • Follow proper food handling, storage, and labeling procedures in compliance with health and safety regulations. • Monitor and minimize food waste by practicing portion control and proper rotation (FIFO). • Set up and break down stations efficiently before and after service. • Communicate effectively with other line cooks, prep cooks, and servers to ensure smooth service. • Support fellow team members during peak rushes by assisting other stations when needed. • Follow instructions from the Head Chef, Sous Chef, or Kitchen Manager with attention to detail. • Uphold Friendly Confines' standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation. • Ensure guest orders are accurate and delivered in a timely manner. • Take pride in crafting meals that enhance the guest experience and reflect the restaurant's reputation. Qualifications • Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred, but not required (willing to train the right candidate). • Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. • Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen equipment. • Strong sense of urgency, time management, and attention to detail. • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs. • Flexible schedule availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays. You will use tool use tools such as drills, circular saws, torque wrenches, deburring tools, nail guns, band saws, hand routers and small sledgehammers. To be successful in this position, you must be able to read and use a tape measure. Essential duties include: • Assemble and install screws and cams into semi-finished product (large composite/plastic mats). • Weld mats with weld gun. • Debur weld seams. • Conduct quality control checks. • Maintain and keep work area clean. • Clean equipment and area before, during, and after shift. • Work well with others in a team-oriented atmosphere. • Regular, reliable, predictable attendance. Qualifications and Requirements: • Must be able to sufficiently read, write, and speak English due to the safety sensitivity of this role. • Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred. • Experience working with hand tools such as the ones listed above preferred. • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. • Must be able to adapt to environmental changes and working conditions, such as temperature and noise. • Must have transportation to and from work. • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening.
