OSITION SUMMARYThe Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the operation of the store and ensuring maximum sales and profitability through merchandise, inventory, expense control, human resource management, operating costs and loss prevention. Responsible for motivating, training and supervising a diverse group of employees. Ensures excellent customer experience throughout all areas including the donation door, sales floor and cash wrap.Education / ExperienceHigh School or GED requiredCustomer Service Experience Required1 year Retail sales and management experience requiredMust be certified or certifiable in CPR/First AidValid Texas Drivers License and good driving record requiredQualifications / Specific Skills / KnowledgeAbility to travel, including overnight stays, and navigate appropriately to stores as assigned.Ability to read, write, accurately operate and balance cash register, and successfully complete all required documentationAbility to communicate appropriately with coworkers and customersAbility to motivate and organize a support sales team with varied work performance levelsAbility to operate all equipment necessary to perform their dutiesCommunity focused with a willingness to actively represent Goodwill-West Texas in a positive mannerAbility to safely lift up to 50 lbsAbility to stand and walk for long periodsAbility to stoop and bendAbility to work varied hours and days as business dictatesRESPONSIBILITIES And DUTIESResponsible for consistently monitoring process flow (donated/new goods to floor to securing a sale) and making improvements as necessary. (E)Ensure that each customer receives outstanding customer service by promoting a customer friendly environment. Greet, acknowledge and express genuine concern for customers and their needs. (E)Lead team in offering excellent customer experience at the donation door. Ensure donations are accepted graciously, every customer is thanked and a receipt is offered to each donor.Ensure that employees meet or exceed established goals (sales, production, roundup, etc.) (E)Create and maintain a schedule for appropriate store and donation unit coverage. Edit and approve time as necessary. (E)Follow budgetary guidelines and improve processes to meet or exceed those guidelines. (E)Responsible for floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance and store housekeeping. (E)Expertly navigate databases such as POS, timeclock, outlook, imeet, etc. (E)Responsible for receiving/monitoring stock and processing/replenishing merchandise as necessary. (E)Enforce and adhere to all laws, regulations, company policies, procedures and practices including signage, pricing and loss prevention. Reports violations as appropriate. (E)Provide training, direction, encouragement and motivation to program participants as outlined by Mission Services (E)Responsible for handling the needs of barriered employees in a sensitive and effective manner (E)Responsible for hiring, training, motivating and disciplining employees. (E)Train and educate staff regarding behavior, productivity and attendance. Inform Regional Sales Manager of issues or potential issues. (E)Ensure employee competencies and evaluations are completed thoroughly and timely. (E)Responsible for all aspects of daily operations of store, including timely and accurate deposits, providing accurate reports, and other documentation as needed. (E)Ensure employees accurately and efficiently complete all sales transactions, including following the round up scripting to support the Goodwill Mission. (E)Responsible for teaching employees how to accurately balance cash drawer and monitoring accuracy. (E)Maintain and display solid knowledge of routine pricing and products. (E)Work at different store locations as needed, with possible overnight travel. Job Summary As an Emergency Department team member at Corewell Health, you'll play a vital role in providing top-quality care to our patients. Under the supervision of an RN, you'll perform delegated patient care tasks and be expected to meet all established competencies. You'll be a vital part of our team, making a real difference in the lives of our patients and their families. Essential Functions • Performs routine bedside nursing activities including ambulating, moving and turning patients, assisting patients with bedpans or urinary devices, making patient beds. Responsible for bagging and labeling all patient belongings and completing the patient property record on all admitted patients. • Performs higher level of patient care tasks as prescribed by established competencies, and as delegated by the supervising professional Registered Nurse in accordance with departmental policies and procedures which includes starting saline locks, simple suture removal (excluding face or complex lacerations) splinting, phlebotomy which includes (children draws over the age of 2), vital sign measurement, records intake and output and restraint application. • Reinforces the patient teaching plan by providing clarification, explanation and/or demonstration to patients/substitute decision-makers regarding treatments, procedures and aftercare. • Applies and changes sterile and non-sterile dressing using appropriate techniques. Applies ace bandage or elastic stockings as required. Assists in performing catheterizations, gives enemas, urine and stool testing, glucometer and EKG functions. • Gathers subjective and objective patient care data; gathers information from primary and secondary source such as direct observation/measurement, patient/significant other interviews, and the medical record. • Documents accurate, complete and precise patient information, interventions and responses in the patient's medical record. Performs discharge function under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse. • Performs technical skills such as (not all inclusive): collecting blood samples, obtaining vital signs, performing ECG's, sets up and assists with wound care, sets up and assist with pelvic exams; and assisting with procedures as directed by the nurse and physician. • Utilizes and understands sterile technique. • Effectively communicates with patients / significant others and other members of the health care team supporting patient and family centered care. • Stocks and maintains adequate equipment and supplies in the patient care areas. Ensures vehicle and equipment are ready for response at all times. • Performs safe movement/transporting of patients; removes waste materials, sanitizing tools, delivers meals to patients. • Completes documentation and records according to department policy. • Demonstrates a high degree of professional conduct. • Attends all required Safety Training programs and can describe his/her responsibilities related to general safety. • Follows the Hospital Exposure Control Plans/Bloodborne and Airborne Pathogens. • Demonstrates respect and regard for the dignity of all patients, families, visitors and fellow employees to ensure a professional, responsible and courteous environment. • Promotes effective working relations and works effectively as part of a department team inter- and intra-departmentally to facilitate the department's ability to meet its goals and objectives. Qualifications Required • High School Diploma or equivalent. • A minimum six months' exhibited performance as a nursing assistant or other inpatient caregiver experience, paramedic, EMT, urgent care caregiver experience or a Nursing Student (preferred completion of a Medical Surgical rotation). • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire Or • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire Preferred • LIC-Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) - STATE_MI State of Michigan.
