Service Porter Position: Service Porter Department: Service Reports To: Service Manager Position Summary The Service Porter plays a key role in supporting the Service Department by ensuring smooth operations, maintaining dealership standards, and assisting customers. This position involves vehicle handling, light maintenance tasks, and providing excellent customer service through efficient support and transportation services. Key Responsibilities • Vehicle Management & Inventory • Check in and document incoming vehicle inventory accurately. • Move vehicles to designated service, parking, or display areas as directed. • Maintain organization and cleanliness of vehicle lots and service lanes. • Customer Service & Transport • Provide shuttle service to transport customers to and from the dealership in a timely and courteous manner. • Assist customers with vehicle pick-up, drop-off, and valet-style service. • Maintenance & Facility Support • Perform light maintenance tasks such as area beautification, and vehicle cleaning when needed. • Assist with dealership facility cleanliness, including service drive and parking areas. • Team Support • Deliver parts, documents, or vehicles as required. • Support service advisors, technicians, and other dealership staff with operational needs. • Perform other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. • Ability to safely operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles. • Excellent communication and customer service skills. • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions. • Physical ability to stand, walk, and move vehicles for extended periods.
