Warehouse Workers National Star Services is a 28-year-old facility management company providing different services all nationwide and we are now in search of Warehouse Workers for our location in Sand Spring OK 74063. Responsibilities include: • Load and unload products efficiently onto trucks. • Work collaboratively as part of a team. • Maintain a clean and organized work area. • Perform effectively in a fast-paced environment. • Follow all safety policies and procedures. Schedule: SundayThursday (occasionally Friday) From 4:30 AM - Until Finish (at 3:00 PM or after) (40 - 50 hours per week) Pay rate: $15.50 HR | * WEEKLY PAY* Requirements: Per our client's request, bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required for this role. Own transportation to get to work. Two valid forms of IDs. Ability to safely perform heavy lifting. Must be 18 years or older. Availability to start immediately. Steel-toe safety boots required. Essential Functions • Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks, checking in material, matching purchase orders to sales orders and distributing to accounting for processing. • Responsible for distributing or allocating specific parts, materials, or components from inventory to support active assembly jobs. • Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed and/or shipped. • Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas. • Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code. • Ensure the warehouse is accessible and safe for salespeople and customer traffic. • Mark materials with identifying information using appropriate method. • Open boxes, crates, and other containers. • Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed via appropriate computer program. • Assist in counting of physical inventory. • Operate forklift and/or pallet jack as needed. • Complete requisition forms to order supplies from other departments. • Prepare parcels for mailing. • Sweep, dust, and mop. Work Environment Non-temperature-controlled environment with loud noises, dust, dirt, and metal particles that are usually associated with metal fabrication shops. All employees are required to wear personal protective equipment to include noise/hearing protection, safety glasses with side shields, and OSHA compliant safety boots/shoes within the manufacturing facility. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee in this position is regularly required to stand for long periods of time. This position requires walking, the ability to reach, ascend/descend ladders, bend, kneel, and stoop. The employee occasionally will lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Travel Local travel may be required to pick up or deliver products in this position. Education and Experience • High school diploma or equivalent (GED). • Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience and/or training. • Basic computer skills/knowledge. • Possession of strong organizational skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks. Job SummaryUnder general supervision, apprehends, impounds, rehomes, and euthanizes as necessary unlicensed, stray, and uncontrolled animals within the Sand Springs city limits in accordance with state and local laws, rules and regulations. Performs animal care and customer service functions at the Animal Welfare facility and focuses on pet adoption and other favorable outcomes through appropriate means.
