Job Description Residency Requirements: Must reside in North Carolina The Student Attendance Specialist ensures that school age children are attending school regularly by investigating causes of unexcused or excessive absences, communicating with families and assistingthem in problem-solving, issuing attendance-based warnings, and helping to represent the school if cases go to court. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties. • Coordinates school-wide attendance efforts and absenteeism prevention programming with a two-fold focus 1) educating families on the importance of attendance with a focus on prevention and 2) intervening to fix the underlying issues that lead to absenteeism; • Works with teachers to monitor student adherence to the school's attendance policies; • Emails, calls and sends auto-dial notices to targeted student population; • Recommends families to the appropriate administrator for truancy intervention meetings as necessary; • Attends truancy meetings with school administrators; • Ensures state compliancy guidelines are met for student attendance, progress and system logins; • Ensures school policy and state requirements are met regarding all attendance withdrawals; • Produces attendance/truancy reports for the school, county and state, as required; • Works with the Student Support Team to assist students in situations where referral to service agencies are necessary; • Works with families and teachers to develop individualized action plans to increase student attendance and engagement; • Works with the Student Support Administrator, Head of School and local school board to develop improved procedures that address attendance; • Works with families and student support staff to prevent juvenile delinquency; • Develops and implements educational workshops related to absenteeism for school staff and families; • Assists staff on projects regarding student attendance/truancy. MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: • High School Diploma or General Equivalency Degree (GED) Certificate AND • Two (2) years of truancy experience OR • Equivalent combination of education and experience. • Ability to pass required background check. OTHER REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Knowledge of state school attendance laws, and other pertinent laws regarding K-12 education; • Knowledge of state specific court procedures regarding truancy; • Familiarity with online learning environment; • Strong organizational and time management skills; • Strong written and verbal communication skills; • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.); • Ability to travel 20% of the time; DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Three (3) years of experience working with families in similar capacity, enrollment or truancy • Post-secondary degree especially in Education, Counseling, Human Services or related field of study. The Aviation Scheduler is the primary contact for corporate aviation scheduling and travel coordination. Responsibilities/Expectations: • Coordinates company aircraft and approved charter travel, ensuring safe, efficient, and timely support of business and executive travel needs • Manages end-to-end trip planning, including scheduling, itinerary development, passenger and crew coordination, flight following, and operational support • Serves as the primary liaison for passengers, executive assistants, flight crews, FBOs, and vendors, providing proactive communication and exceptional customer service • Resolves scheduling conflicts, operational disruptions, weather impacts, and urgent travel requests using sound judgment and problem-solving skills • Coordinates aviation support services, including fueling, aircraft handling, hangar arrangements, international trip support, ground transportation, accommodations, and catering • Maintains accurate flight, passenger, crew, and aircraft records; prepare operational documentation and reports; and ensure compliance with aviation regulations, policies, and procedures • Identifies opportunities to improve scheduling processes, operational efficiency, and service delivery • Requires flexibility to support flight operations outside standard business hours, including weekends, holidays, and on-call coverage as needed or scheduled. Office-based position with frequent coordination across operational teams. • Other duties as assigned Education/Years of Experience: • Required: High School Diploma or GED and minimum four (4) years of experience in aviation scheduling, flight operations coordination, corporate aviation support, or related experience • Preferred: Associate's Degree in Business, Aviation Management, or a related field and minimum six (6) years of experience in aviation scheduling, flight operations, corporate aviation, or related experience Other Requirements: • Working knowledge of aircraft scheduling, trip planning, crew duty and rest requirements, aviation operations, and regulatory requirements • Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple concurrent trips, schedules, and priorities with limited oversight • Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to support executives, passengers, flight crews, vendors, and service providers • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills • Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality of sensitive travel and passenger information • Proficiency with aviation scheduling software, trip planning systems, and standard business applications • Preferred: Experience supporting executive and senior leadership travel operations • Preferred: Knowledge of international flight planning requirements, customs regulations, and international trip support coordination • Preferred: Experience preparing operational reports and supporting departmental administrative or accounting processes • Preferred: Experience coordinating aircraft handling services, vendor relationships, and contract service providers in a corporate aviation environment • Preferred: Experience training or mentoring less experienced scheduling or operational support personnel #LI-AB1 Why Tulsa?
