Adjunct Instructor For Data Science The Graduate School and related schools/colleges invite applications for an adjunct instructor who will focus on teaching an undergraduate and graduate level Data Science course. Successful candidates are expected to actively participate in the teaching and curriculum development of the undergraduate and graduate level course. Basic Function: Teach undergraduate and graduate level online Data Science and Analytics courses. Supervisory Accountability: Involves no responsibility or authority for the direction of others. Nature and Scope: Internal contacts include students, the department chair, and other administrators, when relevant. External contacts include students and the general public. Principal Accountabilities: Actively participate in Department's teaching of undergraduate and graduate students, as assigned by the Department. Core Competencies: Effective pedagogical skills. Minimum Requirements: Minimum of a MS in the area of Data Science or Data Analytics or PhD in related field + experience in teaching relevant data science courses. What You'll Do • Perform daily data entry for new and renewed loans, loan advances, maintenance requests, and loan payments within the Bank's core system • Review loan approvals and closing conditions to ensure all requirements have been satisfied prior to funding • Process loan funding entries and disbursements accurately and in balance with approved documentation • Maintain loan account information and perform required loan servicing activities • Assist with monthly reporting requirements, including FHLB, SBA, and PCBB reporting • Review internal reports and exception reports to identify and resolve missing or inaccurate loan data • Review loan agreements and enter covenant tracking and monitoring ticklers as needed • Verify the accuracy of loan maintenance and payment processing activities • Ensure electronic loan documents are uploaded and stored properly within the Bank's filing systems • File and maintain both physical and electronic loan documentation • Assist customers and bank personnel with loan-related inquiries and requests • Support loan operations staff with notices, transaction posting, and general operational duties • Review general ledger accounts, internal loan accounts, floor plans, and holding accounts to identify and resolve discrepancies • Review daily operational reports and assist management with compliance-related reporting • Assist with mortgage filings, UCC filings, participation payments, insurance tracking, and paid-out processing • Process mortgage escrow transactions and support insurance and tax disbursements • Provide backup support for annual reviews and other departmental responsibilities • Perform Loan Operations Specialist responsibilities as needed • Recognize and report potential fraud, scams, phishing attempts, and other suspicious activity • Stay current on banking regulations, security procedures, and compliance requirements Requirements Required Qualifications • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; finance, accounting, or other business-related fields preferred • Experience: 3-4 years of general banking experience • Valid driver's license, proof of insurance, qualifying motor vehicle record report, and reliable transportation • High level of professionalism and integrity • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team • Flexible, adaptable, and committed to continuous learning • Ability to work onsite and maintain regular attendance based on business needs Preferred Qualifications • 2 years of commercial and/or commercial real estate loan servicing experience • 2 years of loan data entry experience • Experience with loan funding, loan operations, and regulatory reporting • Knowledge of commercial lending documentation and loan servicing processes
