Nine Mile Falls School District Job Posting # 35-26/27 Job Title: Recess Aide and FP Paraprofessional - NMFE ( Recess Aide 2 hours, 5 days a week / Paraprofessional 1 hour, 2 days a week) Open: July 7, 2026 First File Review: July 15, 2026 Closed: Open Until Filled Recess, Routines, and Really Important Little Moments Elementary school has a lot of moving parts, and some of them move very fast. This role helps keep students safe during recess, supports learning time in the Family Partnership Program, and gives kids another dependable person in their day. You are there for the moments that do not always fit neatly into a lesson plan but still matter. You might help settle a debate over who was "actually first," remind someone that playground equipment is not a launch pad, or spot the student who needs a little help joining in. Some days are loud. Some moments are muddy. The work is still meaningful. Students learn a lot from the people who notice them, redirect them kindly, and help them feel like school is a place where they can try again. This is a small-hours position with a big place in the school day. It is practical work, student-support work, and sometimes "let's make a better choice" work. It helps students stay safe, connected, and ready for what comes next. Terms of Employment and Salary The hourly rate range, based on the 2025/26 salary matrix, for this position is Min. $17.70 - Max. $24.15.
