In addition, Full-Time Supervisor positions must be able to perform External Key Carrier responsibilities which include but are not limited to opening and closing responsibilities. Primary Responsibilities: Sales and Service Excellence: • Foster a culture that builds trust, brand loyalty and exceptional client service delivery. • Utilizes and understands the selling program to promote the sale of the best solution as well as additional product and/or services solutions. Maintains awareness of planned advertisements and promotions. Provides exceptional customer service by educating customers about Office Depot products and services. • Effectively utilizes communication tools to request assistance anywhere on the sales floor, and to coordinate the appropriate service, and customer engagement throughout the store. • Able to evaluate the customer's needs to determine the total solution. Leadership and Team Development: • Provide guidance, direction, and ongoing training to store associates, including Print Services associates. • Facilitate training sessions on the business model and the holistic service offering for clients/customers. • Observe, coach, and provide feedback to enhance associate proficiency and build a culture of trust and brand loyalty. • Provide feedback to the General Manager regarding store associates' performance, certification(s), and competencies. • Other responsibilities as deemed necessary Operational Efficiency: • Process merchandise accurately and efficiently, adhering to established procedures, deadlines, and visual merchandising standards. • Identify areas for process improvement and implement plans to reduce waste and inefficiencies. • As a leader in the store, ensure regular loss prevention compliance. • Assist the General Manager in providing guidance and effective coaching to associates for improved performance. • Contribute to increasing sales and profitability through conversion, Average Order Value (AOV), and customer satisfaction improvement initiatives.
