Drivers are responsible for loading their delivery truck, driving an assigned route, delivering product to stores and vending locations, stocking shelves or vending machines, rotating product, collecting payments where required, and maintaining accurate delivery and inventory records. Drivers also build product displays, ensure vending machines are fully stocked and operational, and maintain positive relationships with store managers and business owners. This position typically pays $25 to $34 per hour or $55,000 to $75,000 per year, with opportunities for overtime pay, route bonuses, performance bonuses, and commission for vending or product sales depending on the route and location.Drivers must safely operate a company delivery truck, follow DOT regulations when applicable, use handheld devices to track deliveries and inventory, and follow company safety and merchandising standards.
