Description Kidwell is seeking highly motivated individuals to fill the role of Apprentice Electrician in the Omaha, NE area. This position is open to those newer to the trade; formal training programs are available to help teach the trade. These individuals must beteam-oriented and possess the qualities of positivity, honesty and attention to detail. Candidates also need great organizational skills and must be quality communicators. What You'll Do: • Assist Journeyman Electricians with installing and repairing electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment • Perform daily responsibilities that include: • Measure, cut and bend wire and conduit • Drill holes for wiring and pulls • Trace out short circuits in wiring • Gather tools and supplies to be used at work sites • Install fixtures • Assist our cabling and special systems teams when needed to install, configure, and troubleshoot low-voltage electronic systems • Opportunities to take on a variety of other tasks based on skill set and interests Requirements: • Candidates must be able to work in the Omaha, NE area as needed • Field experience as a commercial electrical apprentice is preferred but not required • Candidates must have good leadership and people skills • Ability to pass a physical exam and drug screen • Must maintain a valid driver's license Benefits: This position offers a competitive salary with career development potential.
