Job Title Responsible for the decontamination, cleaning, storing, and distribution of patient medical equipment and devices. Essential Functions • Decontaminate, and clean soiled patient medical devices according to prescribed procedures and aseptic techniques. • Assist in pick up and collect soiled patient equipment and bring them to designated cleaning area following the designated • Redistribute cleaned patient medical devices to an established equipment par location by unit. • Inspects, monitors, and verifies patient medical equipment is in good working condition; removes from service for repair and/or maintenance. • Regular attendance at work is an essential function of the job • Perform physical requirements as described in the Physical Requirements section Education Qualifications • High School Diploma or GED Required Experience Qualifications • Minimum 1 year of experience in hospital supply, preparing and distributing medical supplies and equipment Required Skills and Abilities • Ability to recognize and respond to emergent needs. • Able to work independently. • Organizational and prioritization setting skills. • Must be able to work collaboratively with others. • Outstanding customer service skills. • Ability to communicate effectively. • Basic computer skills including excel and word.
