The Bookkeeper / Controller is responsible for the day-to-day financial recordkeeping and accounting operations of a Houston-based single-family office. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, discretion, and professionalism while managing the confidential financial affairs of the affiliated members and corporate entities. The ideal candidate is highly organized, experienced with complex financial transactions, very comfortable with QuickBooks, and comfortable working in a confidential environment with multiple legal entities and asset classes. The role is not remote, but will likely require 4 days a week in-office. The ideal candidate is an accounting professional who thrives in a highly confidential environment and enjoys managing the financial operations of a sophisticated family office. LPN Assisted Living We are seeking a Part-time No Benefit (PTNB) nurse for our LPN position. This candidate is responsible for supervising, providing, and coordinating nursing care in compliance with facility policies and procedures and assessing residents' care needs and taking appropriate action. Shift: 3pm-11:30pm rotating weekends and Friday's. Essential Duties: • Supervise and evaluate all direct resident care and initiate corrective action as necessary. • Interpret existing policies and procedures for nursing assistants, residents, families and physicians. • Conduct resident rounds daily, reporting problems to nursing supervisors and initiating corrective action. • Administer and document direct resident care, medications and treatments per physicians' orders and accurately record all care provided. • Promptly report changes in residents' condition to the physician, Residential Services Director, and responsible party, and take follow-up action as necessary. Qualifications: • Must be a graduate of an approved school of nursing. • Experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse in a long-term care environment preferred. • Must have a current, active, valid license as a Licensed Practical Nurse with no sustained findings or convictions. • CPR Certification (Basic Life Support) is required. • IV certified, knowledge of PCC is a plus.
