Warehouse Order PickerSummary: To pull items efficiently and accurately according to customer order.Location: Orlando, DCRate: $19.35/hr up to $222.44/hr at 1 year of employmentStandard Work Hours: 3pm-11pmEssential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.· Pull all orders for the customer according to the prescribed picking quota as set by management.· Pull means - to go to the shelf where the product is located; identify the proper product and quantity, pull the product, and transport the product to the checking station.· Basic navigation on the computer is required· Use of voice picking and RF scanning equipment is required· Adherence to the Stockroom Housekeeping Policy of facility and specific product line area is required.· Accuracy in repetitive routine is very important while maintaining good speed.· Follow and adhere to all safety rules including the handling of hazardous materials.Qualifications:Must be functionally literate and capable of understanding and recognizing product numbers and line codes to insure proper retrieval of products for shipment, including identifying sequence of numbers and letters accurately and rapidly.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Adapt to understanding the voice system's commands, as well as adapting your speech so that the voice system can understand your input.Math Ability:Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.Reasoning Ability:Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.Work Environment:The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.While performing the duties of this job the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts.The noise level in the environment is loud.Physical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers to handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. Key Responsibilities: • Ensure satisfactory completion of nightly doorstep trash/recycling collection during service evenings. • Utilize the assigned trash tote or cart to collect bagged trash from each resident doorstep. • Utilize Trash Butler's cutting-edge field app for efficient timekeeping, check-in/out, and reporting. • Safely transport collected trash using your open-bed pickup truck or cart and dispose of it in the on-site dumpsters, compactors or chute rooms. • Perform additional services as needed at assigned communities, which may include but are not limited to: porter service, bulk item hauling, pet station waste removal, pressure washing, compactor clean-up, and light community cleanliness tasks. • Maintain daily communication with your supervisor/manager to ensure a streamlined and effective workflow. • Work quietly and efficiently, minimizing noise to avoid disturbance to residents. • Adhere to the company's core values: Figure It Out, Champion of Change, Do the Right Thing, Never, 'Not My Job', and Expect Excellence. • Other duties as assigned by the supervisor/manager. Minimum Requirements: • Lift up to 25 lbs. and use hands and arms repetitively. • Climb stairs in apartment buildings. • Work outdoors and be exposed to various weather conditions. • Own an open bed pick-up truck (required at most properties). • Possess a valid driver's license and auto insurance in your name or listed as an authorized driver on the insurance (mandatory for properties requiring a truck). • Have a cell phone (Smart Phone) to download and use the company's app. • Demonstrate self-motivation and reliability. • Ability to work independently. • Work efficiently without sacrificing the quality of service.
