This position has manufacturing operation responsibilities for the assembly of TWG products. Essential Responsibilities: • Assemble parts according to Bill of Material, Bill of Operations, engineering drawings and any other related controlled documents. • Operates hydraulic and manual presses to assist in assembly operation. • Performs test procedures on assemblies as directed. • Required to maintain accurate and timely transactions in the ERP system. • Repairs and maintains mechanical equipment. • Be able to drive forklift truck, hand trucks or manually move parts as directed or required. • Complete kitting parts based on production schedule. • May be required to train other employees and help in other departments as directed. • Other essential duties and responsibilities may be assigned as required. • This position is also responsible for, with authority to follow ISO procedures, initiate action to prevent problems, document quality problems, contribute to problem solutions, verify implementation of solutions, control further processing when a problem is identified, protect the environment, including preventing pollution, analyzing or identifying areas for correction or improvement. Qualifications/Requirements: • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Must be able to travel as required and /or directed. Overview Stockers are to receive, price, sensor (if applicable) and inspect freight. Stockers must be proficient in all aspects of the Cavender's Boot City stocking system, and knowledgeable of all paperwork associated with each stocking function. Stockers must prioritize merchandise by order of importance (i.e., empty wrangler shelves should be restocked before empty polish racks are restocked). Stockers are also responsible for keeping the store neat and clean inside and outside.
