A Brief Overview The Access Scheduler I is a point of contact for a variety of sources including nurses, physicians, social workers, and patients and families who request both complex and non-complex scheduling for appointments, procedures, and other necessary services. The scheduler must maintain the ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining confidentiality and a professional demeanor through a consistently positive customer experience. This position requires accurate completion of all scheduling and registration activity including: collecting and entering demographic information, verifying insurance information, and informing families of referral requirements. Requires the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise by utilizing available resources. Collaborates with key department personnel for decisions regarding scheduling issues. Makes every effort to meet the "one call does it all" enterprise benchmark. Includes working with medical records, following HIPPA guidelines. Employees are responsible for supporting the department by managing inbound and outbound calls, scheduling across multiple specialties and service areas within the enterprise, and may be assigned to support different or additional teams based on departmental needs and operational changes. Performs other duties as assigned. Work Location Remote Available Schedules • 8:30am - 5:00pm • 8:00am - 4:30pm • 8:00am - 4:30pm What you will do • Phone Triage • Responsible for all initial telephone contact with patients requesting department services. Must handle calls and direct them appropriately and efficiently in accordance with department performance metrics. • Answers general information questions regarding appointments, procedures and services (e.g. current studies, study specific information, potential patients, contact lists, etc.) or concerns. Directs/transfers calls to department coordinators as defined by scheduling guidelines. • Maintains a working knowledge of current procedures and services and able to answer questions regarding insurance, registration, and other services. • Pre-visit/Registration • Responsible for pre-visit and registration process for patients. • Creates and/or updates patient record by verifying demographic, insurance information, or proper study identification in the registration system. • Ensures specific registration fields are accurately entered into registration system, including but not limited to visit notes and summaries, referral/authorization numbers, eligibility review, etc. • Provides any and all other duties necessary to provide efficient, timely services to patients and their families as it relates to the registration and insurance process. • Scheduling Coordination • Provides cross-functional support to the department by handling inbound and outbound calls, coordinating scheduling across multiple specialties and enterprise service areas • Explains and educates family about the scheduling process. • Maintains consistent and productive communication with necessary departments; precertification, registration, coordinators etc. • Provides scheduling wrap-up and necessary communication for patients scheduled. • Works with Management Staff in identifying trends and opportunities to enhance the pre-visit, registration and scheduling functions for patients/subjects and department staff. Education Qualifications • High School Diploma / GED Required Experience Qualifications • At least one (1) year Customer Service experience Preferred • Healthcare, registration, physician billing, medical records/office experience Preferred Skills and Abilities • Competent computer skills (Required proficiency) • Professional skills using sound judgment (Required proficiency) SALARY RANGE: $20.55 - $25.69 Hourly Salary ranges are shown for full-time jobs. Summary/Objective The Facilities Coordinator is responsible for buildings/facilities of Green Country Habitat for Humanity (GCHFH) making sure they are in good working order, clean, well-maintained, secure, and meet health and safety standards, including but not limited to: arranging for and directing renovations, repairs, grounds keeping, answering complaints and concerns, creating budgets, making sure all buildings comply with all laws and ensure compliance with all safety and security protocols. Maintains building systems by contracting for maintenance services; supervising repairs. Secures properties by installing and maintaining security devices; establishing and enforcing precautionary policies and procedures; responding to emergencies. Responsible for GCHFH mow list. Attends all assigned meetings and training sessions. Other duties, as required. Additional Responsibilities Drives a van or box truck and pulls trailers. Loads items at the work site in a safe and courteous fashion. Assists in unloading truck following dock guidelines. Operates powerlift equipment and various power tools. Position Requirements - Skills / Abilities Ability to handle multiple tasks in a deadline orientated environment. Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and grounds keeping. Ability to use common hand and electrical tools, and an eagerness to learn new skills. Ability to read and check blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs as necessary. Thorough working knowledge of facility equipment units, their usage, and safety procedures. Understanding of necessary mathematics. Knowledge of simple home improvement materials. Experience / Education High School or GED equivalent. Experience with precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devices. Forklift and heavy equipment experience. Additional Requirements Must possess valid Oklahoma Driver's License with safe driving record. Must be 25 years of age.
