Meat Products Logistics OperatorThis position is responsible for moving meat products or materials using industrial vehicles.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesThe essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:Operate industrial vehicles including sit-down and stand-up forklifts, pallet jacks and other relevant equipment.Load and unload trucks and ensure proper storage.Transporting, relocating products, and organizing pallets within the designated areas.Ensure proper organization and placement of products to optimize storage space.Ensure compliance with food safety and company policies.Move products and materials manually as required.Assist stack off associates as needed.Maintain equipment and keep work area clean and safe.Receive, verify shipments, and inspect the quantity and quality of products and raw materials.Fill out the shipping and receiving log.Accurately record inventory data.Assist in unloading inbound shipments safely and efficiently.Inspect and document inbound shipments on the Receiving Log.Verify Purchase Order number on bill of lading.Verify Seal number on the truck matches the seal on the bill of lading.Perform trailer inspection for foul odor, condensation, evidence of pest activity, standing water, and excessive trash or debris.Verify product count matches with bill of lading.Receive, log, and deliver parcel packages.Prepare load to be shipped.Keep Box Room stocked and prepare daily physical inventory.Collaborating with suppliers and other teams to ensure accurate and timely processing.Coordinate with warehouse teams to prioritize tasks and ensure smooth workflow.Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols for handling meat products.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, And Experience)Experience in a similar position in a food processing environment is preferred.Previous forklift operating experience is preferred or must be able to pass the forklift driving skills test.Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy boxes/packages.Attention to detail and good organizational skills.Ability to work in cold and/or refrigerated environments.Ability to work in a fast-paced and regulated environment.Ability to read, write, and communicate in English with strong verbal communication skills. Knowledge of Spanish is helpful, but not required.Physical Demands And Work EnvironmentThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. The job typically involves standing and walking for extended periods to move around the warehouse, inspecting inventory, and fulfill orders. The employee may involve repetitive motions, such as scanning barcodes, sorting products, packaging items, and bending, stoop, and kneel to access products on lower shelves. The employee may operate machinery like forklifts or pallet jacks, requiring physical coordination and the ability to handle heavy equipment.Due to noise levels in the work environment, the use of hearing protection is required. The employee must have good, corrected vision to see details at close range or at a distance. The employee will be working in a cold storage environment and may be exposed to heat when working outside the warehouse area. The employee may be exposed to strong odors such as raw meat and marinades from seasoned meat.While in the production area, employee is required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to include hair and beard nets, rubber soled shoes, smocks, hearing protection and hard hats.

The OAM - IT will undergo a comprehensive training program that includes hands-on experience, mentorship, and leadership development. During their training, NOASMs in Training will become familiar with Manager on Duty duties and will focus on overseeing overnight freight operations to ensure the successful execution of core freight handling programs. They will frequently collaborate with Night Replenishment Managers (NRMs) to manage the unload, pack out, and pack down NOASM's in Training will collaborate with the Store Manager, Assistant Store Managers (ASMs), and field teams and learn to develop and implement strategies that boost sales and profitability, creating actionable game plans for departmental success, and ensuring smooth department operations. NOASM - ITs are expected to lead by example. Additionally, they have a responsibility to uphold, maintain, and support all lawful company policies and positions. During the NOASM-IT training period, which will be up to 6 weeks, you will be learning to execute OASM key responsibilities.Key Responsibilities:10% - Customer Experience - Supervising Associates in the selling effort and lead GET culture and set the example. Drive customer service and associate engagement through the store; ensure Customer concerns are solved effectively and take necessary actions to resolve situations promptly15% - Operations Management - Perform Opening, Closing MOD and other whole store focus responsibilities. Adhere to all Company policies and procedures and hold associates accountable for following all Company policies and procedures. Command of store standard operating procedures (SOP's), especially those involving Safety compliance and learn tactics to maintain process accuracy and take steps to mitigate shrink15% - Safety - Ensure self and associates follow all safety and hazmat procedures and Safety Matters guidelines at all times10% - Sales and Productivity - Work with key partners to plan merchandise placement, signing and support stock integrity through inventory management. ASMs in Training will learn how to maintain and operate all store equipment and systems as well as how to manage daily financial operations.50% - Training and Preparing for Assistant Manager Position - Participate in a structured training program covering all aspects of retail store management, including operations, customer service, sales & profitability, and company policies and procedures. Learn and demonstrate tactics to support key accountability: staffing and scheduling, identifying and resolving stock deficiencies, supervisor associates in selling behaviors, resolving customer issues and concerns, and supporting service needs for both installed sales/special orders and product sales. Learn and demonstrate the performance management process, to include review of associate performance and how to execute the associate disciplinary process when necessary.
