Experience the entire product lifecycle, from concept and requirements, through design, implementation, testing and certification, and field application. You can expect a variety of opportunities ranging from products for cockpit displays and instruments, local and remote sensing, data conversion and storage, lithium battery management, along with providing analog/digital support to the power design team for AC/DC, DC/DC, and DC/AC power conversion. THIS POSITION MAY BE FOR YOU IF… • You have a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. • You have a minimum of 5 years in analog and mixed-signal design, particularly suited to precision instrumentation, signal conditioning, and integrated circuit applications. • You have proficiency with design and simulation tools (PADS, LTSpice, or similar schematic capture). • You have a strong grasp of mixed-signal simulation techniques and PCB layout software. • You have a solid understanding of signal integrity, impedance matching, and EMI/EMC design practices such as RTCA DO-160 or MIL-STD-810/461. • You are proficient with Microsoft Office. • You have strong attention to detail. • You are organized, focused and results oriented. • You are a problem-solver with critical thinking and prioritizing skills. • You have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. WE WOULD REALLY LIKE IT IF… (but it's not a deal breaker) • You have experience with Design for Manufacture and Design for Test (DFM & DFT) • You have design experience in the aviation industry WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM ONE DAY TO THE NEXT… • Design and implement analog front-end circuits, including amplifiers, ADC/DAC interfaces, and filtering stages to enable accurate signal processing for a range of instrumentation • Lead mixed-signal system integration to design and verify reliable data conversion, filtering, and conditioning stages. • Research new components, technologies, and methods to incorporate into new and existing designs • Coordinate with other functional teams, including layout, mechanical, software, and certification engineers • Build and troubleshoot hardware, including soldering, operation of test equipment, and daily work in both office and test lab environments • Participate in rigorous testing and troubleshooting using tools like oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and logic analyzers to validate performance against stringent requirements • Design and integrate manufacturing tools for new products, as needed • Create detailed documentation for design verification, testing protocols, and component selection rationales in required formats, including BOMs, ECOs, and work instructions WE ARE ONE OF THE BEST PLACES TO WORK… • We provide above-market pay and a comprehensive benefits package. • We promote an environment where you can excel in your career while still maintaining a healthy work-life balance. • Our facility is climate controlled, clean, organized, and safe. Experience the entire product lifecycle, from concept and requirements, through design, implementation, testing and certification, and field application. You can expect a variety of opportunities ranging from precision cell voltage, current, and temperature sensing, protection and isolation circuits, cell balancing, lithium battery management, and integration with aircraft power systems. THIS POSITION MAY BE FOR YOU IF… • You have a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. • You have a minimum of 5 years of experience designing lithium battery management systems (BMS). • You have general analog design experience and have created schematics and PCBs containing analog and mixed-signal circuits. • You have experience designing cell sensing, protection, balancing, and isolation circuits for lithium battery packs. • You are proficient with Microsoft Office. • You have strong attention to detail. • You are organized, focused and results oriented. • You are a problem-solver with critical thinking and prioritizing skills. • You have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
