Inventory Associate I - C C-shift F-M 6am-630pm Location: Orlando, FL Type: 6-month contract Compensation: $28 per hour Work Model: Onsite Responsibilities • Support fulfillment operations by accurately counting inventory, receiving shipments, and packing items according to standard operating procedures. • Operate heavy equipment including PIT equipment, forklifts, reach-trucks, and turret-trucks, ensuring safety and maintenance protocols are followed. • Unload shipments delivered by carriers and inspect packages for quality and compliance. • Conduct quality control checks on parts and process them accordingly. • Document receipts and work orders using inventory management tools, ensuring accurate data entry and record keeping. • Properly package, label, and mark parts to facilitate workflow and traceability. • Sort, stage, and store packages and crates securely to prevent loss or damage. • Perform storage assignments and audits in accordance with standard procedures. • Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives by identifying and escalating roadblocks. Requirements • Experience in fulfillment operations, including inventory counting, receiving, and packing. • Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach-trucks, and electronic pallet jacks, with training if necessary. • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks related to shipping and receiving. • Strong attention to detail for inspecting shipments and conducting quality checks. • Proficiency in data entry and navigating inventory management systems. • Good judgment and adherence to safety procedures when operating equipment and handling materials.
