Responsible for providing a welcoming and genuine environment and address concerns to ensure a smooth and comfortable experience for patients. Will also cross train on the switchboard. Flexi schedule - will be asked to work varying shifts on rotating days and hours (days, evenings, nights). Minimum 8 hours per week. This role offers a flexible schedule and is ideal for a provider interested in providing consult liaison services for a hospital setting. This role supports ED and inpatient teams by delivering timely psychiatric assessments, treatment recommendations, and care coordination. This Consult-Liaison Psychiatrist role is currently classified as a 1099 contractor position with a pay per patient model, but IPC is open to discussion of other contract models.
