Responsibilities: • Responsible for operating the CT scanner safely and proficiently. • Obtain a high standard of imaging and positioning. • Coordinate patient prepping and scanning to maximize smooth patient flow. • Demonstrate knowledge of contrast media injections and reactions and be able to start an IV line to administer contrast fluids. • Transport patients to and from the department. • Handle telephone scheduling procedures and operate the PACS computer system. Qualifications: Job Requirements: • Technical or Associate's radiography degree. • Must be registered or registry eligible with the ARRT. • Maintain registry while employed. • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
