Work Environment This position is entirely remote, utilizing telehealth technology to connect with clients. Scheduled hours are typically set for Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 4 PM, with some flexibility required to meet patient needs. This setup allows you to manage your work-life balance while contributing meaningfully to the mental health community. Key Responsibilities • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments of new and existing clients, employing evidence-based practices to formulate personalized treatment plans tailored to individual needs. • Implement therapeutic interventions utilizing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and narrative therapy to facilitate client progress and psychological well-being. • Maintain meticulous and confidential clinical records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations, to safeguard client privacy and uphold professional standards. • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team comprising psychiatrists, psychologists, and other professionals to ensure cohesive care delivery for every client. • Engage in regular case consultations and peer review meetings to share insights, enhance skills, and improve the overall quality of care. • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources to foster understanding and support systems. • Stay current with the latest research and advancements in the mental health field to continually integrate new knowledge into practice. Patient Population / Client Focus As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Verve, you will work primarily with adults facing a variety of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, mood disorders, and trauma-related conditions. Qualifications • A Master's degree or a doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required. • Possession of an active license to practice as a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker (LSCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist (LCMFT) in the state of Kansas. • Experience in applying solution-based psychotherapy techniques tailored to each client's unique situation, utilizing strong therapeutic skills to foster effective interventions. • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to establish rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with a team. • Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking abilities to address complex client needs. • A collaborative spirit that values teamwork and contributions from all colleagues, fostering a nurturing and growth-oriented atmosphere.
