The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in the various tasks involved in the overall operation of a store, ensuring maximum sales and profitability by developing staff, controlling expenses and shrinkage as well as all aspects of merchandising and inventory control in adherence with all Company policies and procedures. The minimum age requirement for an Assistant Store Manager is 18. The physical demands of the job require in excess of 8 hours of standing, walking, climbing ladders and lifting up to 50 pounds. Prior retail and or management experience is required. The Dual-Driver/Warehouse Associate will focus on route delivery and warehouse assistance in our collaborative team-based environment. This is a day shift position, and the schedule is Monday through Friday from 6:00am to 2:30pm, or until the daily work is completed. You will: • Safely operate up to a 26' box truck with air brakes • Properly track and document activity log • Report any issues or incidents to dispatch • Inspect the truck before and after trips • Review incoming material orders/pick tickets • Locate materials on shelves in the warehouse • Place materials on an order picker, pallet jack, or forklift • Deliver items to the loading area • Unload trucks You have: • High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) or equivalent • 1 year of recent Delivery Driver experience, a valid driver's license, and a good driving record • Must be able to pass a DOT medical exam and be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. • 1 year minimum of warehouse experience • 1 year minimum of electric pallet jack experience • 1 year of lift gate experience • Forklift/Order Picker experience is a plus We offer a dynamic environment for our more than 13,000 employees to work, learn, and grow professionally.
