Warehouse AssociateDaikin Comfort Technologies Distribution, Inc. is seeking a professional, skilled individual for our Warehouse Associate position for our branch operations group located at our Wichita, KS branch. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for off-loading, put-away, picking and staging of equipment and parts while providing professional quality customer service to all internal and external customers. Alert manager of any concerns immediately.Assist Customers and CSRs as neededFollow standard operating procedures, established work processes and Company policiesPerform additional tasks as requiredNature & Scope:Works within well-defined instructionsUses established procedures and works under supervision to perform assigned tasksWork is closely supervisedKnowledge & Skills:Effective verbal and written communication skillsHigh level of attention to detail and surroundingsBasic Computer skills including data entry to process transactions and generate reports and ordersAbility to successfully process (ex. Loading and Unloading) productsAbility to operate a forklift safely and work in a fast-paced warehouseAbility to pass Prove It and driving testMust be eligible to be forklift certified in house within 30 daysBe dependable, work well in a team environment, and establish positive working relationships with employees and customersAbility to work in warehouse that is not climate controlledExperience:1 plus years of warehouse experience1 plus years industrial forklift experience strongly preferred.Education/Certification:High School diploma or GEDMust have Valid driver's licensePeople Management: NoPhysical Requirements / Work Environment:Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations. The ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 40 lbs or lift lighter items repetitively or perform 2 man lifts for heavier items.
