Skills and experience that will lead to success • 8 or more years of experience supporting CISO, CIO, technology executive, chief of staff function, transformation office, or enterprise security leadership team. • Experience working within a cybersecurity operations team or enterprise security team as a technical leader or leading security teams and programs. • Experience working across regions, cultures, and time zones in a matrixed global organization. • Significant leadership experience in cybersecurity, technology operations, engineering, enterprise program management, strategy, or a comparable complex global environment. • Proven success translating enterprise strategy into practical operating plans and measurable business outcomes. • Solid understanding of cybersecurity operations and engineering disciplines. Security operations, incident response, threat detection, threat intelligence, data protection, vulnerability management, identity, cloud security, and security platforms. • Demonstrable ability to lead large, multi-functional initiatives and influence senior collaborators across technical and business organizations. • Executive level proficiency in writing and speaking, including the ability to translate complex information into clear decisions, priorities, and actions. Data-driven mentality with the ability to use qualitative and quantitative insights to identify trends, challenge assumptions, and improve outcomes. • Experience developing executive reporting, portfolio governance, operating metrics, and performance management routines. • Exceptional judgment, discretion, and the ability to handle sensitive or confidential information. Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, global environment with competing priorities and ambiguity. • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in cybersecurity, information technology, engineering, business, or a related field; an advanced degree is advantageous. Pay Transparency Laws: The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $111,000- $160,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location. This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
