**Ready to be part of something special?** **Join our Family!**Transports material in the most productive, efficient, accurate, and safe manner with due concern for product quality and condition.**Primary Job Responsibilities:*** Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently to minimize risk to personnel and damage to inventory and equipment.* Use equipment to move materials within the plant.* Replenish pick slots.* Demonstrate safe work practices to prevent on-the-job injuries by following all company and OSHA safety regulations.* Load finished product and custom orders onto trailers in the correct sequence and according to loading requirements, while ensuring an accurate piece count.* Operate a wrapping machine to wrap finished orders.* Adhere to lockout-tagout procedures.* Place proper documentation on pallets.* Read the truck schedule and follow instructions to determine which materials or trucks to be moved.* Perform tasks as directed by the Warehouse Management System (WMS).* Work as a member of the warehouse team by communicating information to coworkers on time to ensure efficient operation of the warehouse.* Perform daily inspection checks on forklifts.* Complete accurate inventory transactions promptly, to reflect material movement and inventory status.* Operate dock plates and dock locks following company procedures.* Maintain cleanliness and sanitary conditions in the warehouse, daily.* Identify problems with equipment, product quality, conveyor system, etc., and take corrective action.* Use care when loading and stacking pallets on trailers to ensure that the product arrives at the customer damage-free.* Use dunnage bags, load bars, and load straps, as needed.* Complete HACCP outbound trailer inspection and report any deficiencies to the supervisor immediately.* Turn completed paperwork in daily.* Assist in the training of new Warehouse Workers and ongoing training of current employees, as requested.* Assist in recouping damaged finished products and transport damaged products to recoup pallets.* Perform other duties as assigned.# # **Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:*** Skill in operating material moving equipment safely and conscientiously.* Performs basic math operations (add, subtract, multiply, divide).* Ability to understand and carry out written and oral instructions.* Ability to work as a productive member of a team.* Ability to work at a rapid pace for continuous periods.* Ability to organize and work on multiple tasks concurrently.* Ability to deal effectively with persons representing widely divergent backgrounds, interests, and points of view.* Communicates effectively with plant personnel courteously and cooperatively.* Demonstrates efficient material handling skills regularly.* Displays a high level of initiative, effort, and commitment toward completing work tasks efficiently and safely.* Demonstrates responsible behavior and attention to detail.* Responds appropriately to supervision.* Aligns behavior with the needs, priorities, and goals of the department and company.* Maintain good attendance and punctuality.* Actively participates in resolving issues or problems related to warehouse operations.* Demonstrates a commitment to high-quality standards of workmanship.* Must become familiar with plant layout for efficient material movement.* Possess a high school diploma or GED.* Must learn how to operate the Warehouse Management System* Candidate must complete a Qualification Checklist* Onsite training specific to job responsibilities.* Must possess or obtain forklift certification.**Protective Clothing and Devices:**Many of the job duties of this position require you to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), if so, when and how to use this equipment will be explained to you at the time of hire.To determine the ability to perform job functions where the use of a respirator is required, employees will be given a physical examination before performing this type of work.**SQF**Responsible for reporting any food safety and quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.Responsible for following cGMP'sResponsible for maintaining cleanliness and good housekeepingEnsure trailers are lean and in good repair for food transportationFollow all appropriate cleaning proceduresEnsure pallets are clean and in good repair**Work Environment:**This position is in a manufacturing plant environment, works around moving mechanical parts, works around motorized vehicles and may be exposed to varying temperatures.Must be able to lift up to 50lbsMay be required to work at heights up to 30ft off the groundMajority of time spent operating a motorized vehicle**Physical Requirements:****Hearing, speaking**: Continuously. Shop Crane Technician This position will be located at the Ankeny, IA branch for MGX Equipment Services and reports to the Service Manager. *Candidates hired for this role will receive a $4,500 sign-on bonus, payable after 90 days continuous service; and be eligible for our Tool Reimbursement Program of up to $1,500 per calendar year ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: • Under the guidance of the Service Manager and other shop technicians, assumes basic job assignments to learn the responsibilities of a Shop Crane Technician. • Helps shop techs perform inspections and repairs. • Inspects tools and equipment to ensure they are in working order. • Other duties as assigned. JOB REQUIREMENTS: • High School Diploma or GED required.
