This position offers a dynamic mix of production, shipping and receiving, installation, and customer support responsibilities.Key Responsibilities IncludeBuild, repair, and fabricate conveyor belts and related componentsInstall and vulcanize lightweight conveyor belting in-house and at customer locationsReceive, inspect, and organize incoming materials and suppliesPick, pack, and ship customer orders accurately and efficientlyMaintain shipment records and inventory dataCoordinate with truck carriers and delivery servicesAssist with conveyor system repairs and installationsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentFollow all company safety procedures and wear required PPERepresent Belt Power professionally when interacting with customers and teammatesRequirementsWe're seeking motivated individuals who are dependable, mechanically inclined, and eager to learn.QualificationsStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsAbility to read and verify measurements accurately using a tape measureBasic computer and math skillsExcellent attention to detail and organizational abilitiesStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to adapt to changing priorities and work environmentsValid driver's license with a clean driving recordHigh school diploma or equivalentAbility to pass a background check and drug screeningPreferred QualificationsForklift experienceMaintenance or conveyor belt technician experienceExperience working in manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial environmentsPhysical RequirementsThis role is active and hands-on. Must have 3 months of verifiable experience • No more than 1 CMV on-road preventable accident in the last 2 years. No major CMV preventable accidents in the last 5 years. • No more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years. • No DUI/DWI within the past 5 years, or 10 years if the offense occurred while holding a CDL. • Must be able to pass a DOT physical and drug test. No drug related conviction within the past 5 years, or 10 years if the offense occurred while holding a CDL.
