Are you ready to take off on your next career with us? The work of a TWU Cargo Ramp loads and unloads cargo on and off aircraft; the transporting of cargo between terminals and aircraft. Remain cognizant of WFS staff, security contractors, and visitors' activities and report security breaches, suspicious occurrences, or non-compliance with the site security plan to managers or via the WFS whistleblower program. Comply with WFS site security plan for assigned warehouse. This job is covered by a collective bargaining agreement. Day In The Life - Ramp Agent Compensation Data Pay rate & Job Type: $16.00/hr Part-Time Responsibilities • Marshall aircraft upon arrival and departure. • Load and unload cargo on and off aircraft. • Safely drive and operate ground support equipment, including belt loaders and tugs to pick-up and deliver cargo between the terminal, warehouse and aircraft. • Perform ground service functions, such as connecting/removing ground power and ground start units and water service. • Perform aircraft pushback, wing walking and related guide man functions. • Maintain a secure work environment. Minimum Requirements • High school diploma or GED equivalent • Ability to lift and handle heavy baggage and cargo (up to 50 lbs or more) • Valid Driver's license, must be maintained throughout employment in this role • Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members and flight crews • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends, holidays, and nights • Basic mechanical aptitude for operating ground support equipment • Ability to pass background checks and comply with airport security regulations • Attention to detail and a commitment to safety protocols • Fluently read, write, and speak the English language • **This job is covered by a collective bargaining agreement of the Transport Workers Union (TWU), a labor union which requires joining the TWU and paying union dues.
