Essential Duties: • Responsible for completing the daily shift report and communicating directly to the next shift any urgent needs. • Perform all assigned tasks in accordance with our established policies and procedures, and as instructed by your supervisors. Demonstrates ability to manage assigned tasks within the scheduled shift. • Assists with resident care to include housekeeping, laundry, social needs, and demonstrates proper lifting techniques. • Assists with serving meals and essential clean-up. • Record all entries on flow sheets, notes, charts, etc., in an informative and descriptive manner. • Report all changes in the resident's condition to the DON/Charge Nurse/HWD as soon as practical. • Agree not to disclose resident's protected health information and promptly report suspected or known violations of such disclosure to the Administrator. • Will keep certification current and participate in continuing education to include staff meetings, in services and web-based training.
