This position plays a critical role in receiving, storing, maintaining, and transporting hybrid grain sorghum seed while ensuring product quality, purity, and proper storage conditions. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a safe and efficient operation.Receive and unload seed trucks during harvest operationsMonitor seed quality by checking moisture and temperature levels on a regular basisCollect and evaluate bin samples and monitor stored seed for insect activityOperate aeration systems and fans to maintain proper storage conditionsTransport seed to the processing facility as neededClean trucks, augers, belts, and other equipment between varieties to ensure seed purityPerform routine equipment inspections and maintain equipment in safe working conditionsSupport a strong safety culture by following all company safety policies and participating in daily safety meetingsMaintain bulk storage yards, including housekeeping and weed control activitiesAssist other departments and operations as neededWhat You'll Bring:RequiredValid driver's licenseBasic computer skillsAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively with a teamStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityPhysical ability to work around loading and unloading equipmentWillingness to work flexible schedules, including overtime during peak harvest and processing seasonsPreferredCommercial Driver's License (CDL) or willingness to obtain oneHigh school diploma or equivalentAgricultural, grain handling, seed production, or warehouse experienceThe estimated salary that Indeed, Glassdoor and LinkedIn lists does not represent Nutrien's compensation structure.
