Stockroom AttendantThis role serves as a Stockroom Attendant in an aerospace simulation manufacturing environment, performing a full range of stockroom activities including order pulling, inventory control, receiving, and stocking of electronic components and finished goods.ResponsibilitiesPull and prepare orders accurately from stock based on production and shipping requirements.Perform inventory control tasks, including counting, tracking, and reconciling stock levels for electronic components and finished goods.Receive incoming materials and equipment, verify quantities and documentation, and ensure items are properly labeled and recorded.Stock and organize inventory in designated locations to maintain an orderly and efficient stockroom.Handle shipping and receiving activities, ensuring materials move in and out of the facility in a timely and accurate manner.Support general labor tasks related to stockroom and warehouse operations as needed.Work with aerospace and military-grade equipment components, following appropriate handling and storage procedures.Collaborate with production and warehouse teams to ensure materials are available when needed and resolve basic inventory issues.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized stockroom area in a climate-controlled facility.Essential SkillsExperience in inventory control, including counting, tracking, and organizing stock.Hands-on experience working in a stockroom, warehouse, production, or general labor environment.Ability to perform shipping and receiving tasks, including checking in materials and preparing items for outbound shipment.Capability to stock inventory and manage storage locations for electronic components and finished goods.Comfort working around aerospace and military-grade equipment components.Basic understanding of general warehouse and production workflows.Attention to detail and accuracy when pulling orders and recording inventory movements.Ability to perform physical tasks associated with warehouse and stockroom work.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in general labor, production, or warehouse work.Experience in an aerospace or manufacturing setting is beneficial.Familiarity with handling electronic components and finished goods.Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a stockroom or warehouse environment.Why Work Here?You will work with advanced aerospace simulation and military-grade equipment, including control panels used in Blackhawk and Apache helicopters and Boeing aircraft. The standard schedule is first shift, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. You will work around aerospace and military-grade equipment and electronic components in an organized stockroom and warehouse setting. The environment allows for casual dress, including the option to wear shorts, while maintaining appropriate safety and cleanliness standards.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbia, TN.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
