What You'll Be Doing: As a Private Duty Nurse, you'll play a critical role in helping medically fragile clients thrive at home. Your responsibilities may include: Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician Providing g-tube, trach, and ventilator care Monitoring vital signs and overall client condition Assisting with daily living activities such as feeding, bathing, and mobility support Educating and supporting the client and their family Communicating any changes in condition to the care team and documenting thoroughly Following a detailed plan of care while adapting to the unique needs of each client Collaborating with clinical supervisors and care coordinators to ensure the best possible outcomes You'll work independently—but never alone.
