UPS is seeking Package Delivery Drivers to safely operate delivery trucks and deliver packages to residential and commercial customers on an assigned route. Drivers are responsible for loading and unloading packages, following a scheduled delivery route, operating a UPS delivery vehicle, and providing excellent customer service during deliveries and pickups. Drivers must be comfortable driving a delivery truck, and some locations may require the ability to drive a manual transmission delivery vehicle. This position requires passing a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam and maintaining a valid driver's license with a clean driving record in accordance with UPS and DOT regulations. This position typically pays $45 per hour or more for full-time UPS package delivery drivers, with additional overtime pay available during peak seasons.Drivers are responsible for meeting daily delivery quotas, using handheld scanners to track and confirm deliveries, following all UPS safety procedures, lifting and carrying packages, and maintaining a professional appearance while representing UPS. Drivers must follow company guidelines regarding safe driving practices, package handling procedures, delivery confirmation procedures, and customer interaction standards.Full-time UPS employees may be eligible for benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, pension plan, 401(k), paid vacation, paid holidays, overtime opportunities, and union-negotiated wage increases. The main responsibility of a Pizza Ranch Delivery Driver is to deliver the orders to the designated places on time. Punctuality and honesty are the attitude required from applicants for this position. Delivery Drivers are also expected to know how to read a basic road map or use a GPS system to find unfamiliar locations. The orders must be delivered right on time and given to customers in a very courteous manner. It is also expected from delivery drivers to make sure that the company's delivery vehicles are well maintained before and after the shift. Qualifications, Skills, and/or Competencies • Must be 18 years of age or older. • Must have a driver's license valid under the laws of the state(s) where the team member works, acceptable motor vehicle record, and proof of insurance. We provide the vehicle. • May be cross-trained to perform other workstation duties within the restaurant as needed. • Ability to be mobile and/or on your feet for extended periods of time during entire shift. • Reaching, bending, stooping, lifting, wiping, sweeping, and mopping. • Ability to lift and carry weight up to 40 pounds. • Strong desire and ability to provide legendary guest service. • Ability to positively interact with Team Members and Guests.
