In this unique and life-changing career, couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students living in the home. Flex Houseparents play a vital role in creating a structured, family-like environment that fosters students' academic, emotional, and social development so they can reach their full potential. Responsibilities include: • Providing daily supervision and mentorship • Managing household routines and student schedules • Administering medications and ensuring student wellness • Driving students to activities, as well as planning and actively engaging in developmental and recreational activities with students • Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel • Overseeing budgeting and household reporting Upon hire, Flex Houseparents initially support various student homes and follow a working schedule of nine consecutive days on duty, followed by three days off. On weekdays, houseparents have unscheduled time while students are in school. Flex Houseparents eventually transition into a Placed Houseparent role, where they live and work with the same group of students in their own student home. TheTrial Court Administrator is employed by the Idaho Supreme Court and is responsible for carrying out the Court's policies, mission, and goals and those administrative duties of the district court that are established by statute, local rule, or inherent power of the court (Idaho Court Administrative Rule 43). The Trial Court Administrator works under the general direction and supervision of the Administrative District Judge. Other Position Information: The First Judicial District is comprised of five counties, eight district judges (general jurisdiction), and fourteen magistrate judges (limited jurisdiction). Major Duties and Responsibilities (The examples provided do not cover all of the duties which the incumbent in this position may be required to perform.) • Plans, develops, and implements long- and short- range goals, objectives, and priorities for the district; • Supervises the daily operations of the district courts in multiple counties in coordination with the Administrative District Judge; • Supervises and leads the court administration office, including supervision of deputy trial court administrators. • Coordinates and manages court services, including but not limited to problem-solving courts, family and children services, court assistance, guardianship and conservatorship, language access, and mediation; • Assists in the recruitment, selection, training, evaluation, discipline, and supervision of county-employed district court personnel and provides direct supervision to certain state- and county-employed district court personnel; • Participates in meetings of the Idaho Supreme Court's Administrative Conference as a voting member by identifying issues and challenges being experienced in the district, engaging in policy discussions, reporting the views of the district, and in coordination with the conference, recommending solutions to improve the overall administration of justice in the state court system; • Oversees the development, preparation, and submission of the district's annual budget requests to the Supreme Court and each county within the district and actively monitors expenditures under those budgets; • Coordinates judicial recruitment and performance evaluations for the District Magistrates Commission; • Identifies individuals to provide feedback to judges as part of the Judicial Performance Evaluation Program; • Acts as liaison between the courts and state, county, and local governmental agencies and departments; • Fosters productive relationships with legislators as well as county and local officials within the district to secure sufficient facilities and funding for the operations of the court; • Evaluates pending caseloads, caseload trends, and calendaring methods of the Judicial District; • Plans, schedules, and makes judicial assignments as directed by the Administrative District Judge to balance caseloads and to ensure the timely disposition of all matters filed with the court; • Ensures coverage for making the court record throughout the district and monitors appellate transcript timelines to ensure appeals can proceed timely; • Develops a request for, and administers, the district's senior judge allocation in accordance with the Senior Judge Policy Manual; • Acts as the public information officer for the judicial district in coordination with Administrative District Judge and establishes effective relations between the court and the media by scheduling forums or other opportunities for discussion and providing information about the courts to the extent permitted by the Idaho Code of Judicial Conduct; • Coordinates public education programs on behalf of the court; • Develops and manages effective jury systems; • Ensures compliance with state laws, Supreme Court rules and policies, and recommended standards; • Evaluates facility needs of the local district courts and works closely with funding bodies to ensure that adequate, secure, and accessible facilities are available for all court programs, services, and activities; • Serves as the Americans with Disabilities Act coordinator for the judicial district; • Participates in the development and maintenance of court security and disaster plans; • Analyzes emerging trends and innovations in court administration for applicability in the judicial district; • Encourages and promotes innovative approaches to managing the court's business; • Provides support for programs and projects lead by the Administrative Office of Courts; • Other duties as assigned. Duties and Responsibilities: • Coordinate all weekly, monthly, yearly and special event activities in Student and Children's Ministries, which includes youth ages 11-18. • Supervise children's ministry lead and youth ministry associate • Create pathways and opportunities for the children in our programs to be connected to Kroc Church. • Participate in the teaching and preaching ministry of the Corps • Work with Divisional and Territorial staff to support TSA Divisional and Territorial student ministries at the Kroc Center including all offsite youth offerings • Lead and train employees, staff and volunteer youth leaders on Salvation Army Corps/Church program and outreach ministries. • Coordinate, compile and distribute community group curriculum as well as leader training materials, per Salvation Army program structures and materials and as directed by the Corps Officers • Work with local schools and counselors to create opportunities for connection with our student ministries activities. • Regularly interact with students in The Zone (Discovery Club and Youth Activity Area) and at schools in order to invite students to Corps/Church Student Ministry. • Develop and implement a process for facilitating and tracking the participation and spiritual growth of all youth participate in the Center. • Develop, program and maintain opportunities for interning and/or discipling of teens within the Kroc Corps and within the Community Center • Work collaboratively with the Youth Outreach Manager to staff, coordinate and run the Mobile Kroc recess program at local elementary schools. • Work with the Youth Outreach Manager to implement and coordinate youth summer camps • Coordinate transportation and field trips for summer camps • Serve as the camp coordinator for Adventure and Expedition camp during the summer • Connect middle and high school age youth to ministry based programming • Serve as the key point of contact for all middle school age youth weeknights during the school year with a leadership role in gym, wall and Zone • Ensure that parents and youth alike view the Kroc Center as a safe area for youth and a place they can turn in time of need. • Recruit, train and place volunteers to serve in various areas of the Corps. • Interview, vet and hire for summer camp temporary employment • Collect and report statistics including attendance and maintain the master calendar for all youth ministries. • Serve as ministry liaison for community outreach committee • Pray and counsel people in distress and resource them to professionals when necessary. • Attend all staff and Advisory Board meetings as assigned. • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
