Senior Safety Manager Requirements & Qualifications • 5+ years of experience in construction or industrial safety, including exposure to electrical-related hazards. • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field strongly preferred. • OSHA 30 certification required. • Electrical contractor safety experience preferred. • Safety certifications such as CSP, ASP, or CHST are a plus. • Journeyman or Master Electrician license is advantageous. • Extensive knowledge of OSHA and other relevant safety regulations. • Proficiency with MS Office and safety software. • Ability to travel regularly to regional job sites and occasionally out of state, including overnight stays. • Ability to provide 24/7 on-call support for safety incidents as needed. Senior Safety Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities • Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of safety programs and processes. • Collaborate with managers, field leaders, and teams to ensure adherence to the highest safety standards. • Educate, mentor, and train employees on safety policies, standards, and best practices. • Conduct site visits, audits, and risk assessments to identify and address potential hazards. • Track safety data and metrics, ensuring accurate and timely reporting. • Provide 24/7 support for safety emergencies and respond to incidents as needed. • Foster a culture of accountability, ongoing learning, and safety excellence.
