We are currently seeking a motivated, analytical individual for an entry-level, full-time Merchandiser position at our Corporate Office in Omaha, Nebraska. This role offers hands-on training in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where you will gain exposure to commodity merchandising, supply chain management, and risk management within the agriculture industry. As a Merchandiser, you will work with soybeans and finished soybean products while developing relationships with suppliers and customers. This position is ideal for someone looking to build negotiation, problem-solving, and market analysis skills while learning the fundamentals of hedging and commodity trading. Key Responsibilities • Merchandise soybeans and finished soybean products • Negotiate transactions with suppliers and end-users • Build and maintain strong business relationships with key customers • Participate in supply chain coordination and risk management activities • Collaborate with internal departments to optimize operations • Research, analyze, and interpret market and industry data • Represent the company at plant locations, customer sites, and industry events • Travel periodically to production facilities and customer locations Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, agriculture, or a related field • Strong critical-thinking and decision-making skills • Comfortable negotiating and operating in a competitive environment • Excellent communication and customer service skills • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities • Interest or background in agriculture, farming, grain, soy trading, or soybean products preferred, but not required Why Join Us AGP is a cooperatively owned agribusiness engaged in procuring, processing, marketing, and transporting oilseeds, grains, and related products. About the Role: We're looking for enthusiastic, energetic, and self-motivated team players with at least 2 years of customer-facing experience to: • Deliver vehicles straight to customers' doors with our custom car haulers (don't worry - a commercial license is not required to drive the hauler and you will receive ample training) • Frequently load/unload vehicles onto the hauler (this part does require getting physical!) and regularly inspect the car-hauler to make sure the vehicle maintains safe to drive • Complete customer paperwork and include thorough notes in our customer tracking system • Consistently drive safe and maintain a clean driving record in accordance with Carvana's CMV Driver Qualification policy. * Candidates must be able to satisfy state-specific requirements related to access DMV/title and registration systems. * Illinois, Michigan, Louisiana, and Missouri employees must obtain a Chauffeur's license or any other state specialty license within the first two weeks of employment (process sponsored by Carvana). * California employees must obtain a Vehicle Verifier license within the first 90 days of employment (Process sponsored by Carvana). General qualifications and requirements • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks like detailing vehicles and loading/unloading vehicles onto our haulers in indoor and outdoor conditions with occasional exposure to inclement/extreme weather (some markets may require deliveries to be made in the snow, while other markets require deliveries to be made in the summer heat) . • Ability to walk/stand and sustain physical activity for extended periods of time (8+ hours) • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English • Requires high and low levels of movement with the ability to reach with arms, twist, kneel, crouch, climb, balance, and squat • Requires the grasping, carrying, lifting, pushing, and pulling of items of 50lbs. • Frequent driving requires excellent visual acuity and manual dexterity.
