Together, we're improving health and improving lives.Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to work in Wichita, KS.Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 1:30PM - 10:00PM with rotating weekendsJob Responsibilities:* Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups* Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.* Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner* Process billing information and collect payments when required* Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis* Maintain patient and specimen information logs* Provide superior customer service to all patients* Administrative and clerical duties as necessary* Travel to additional sites when neededMinimum Qualifications:* High school diploma or equivalent* 3 months or more of phlebotomy experiencePreferred Qualifications:* Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomistAdditional Job Standards:* In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency* Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service* Strong communication skills; both written and verbal* Ability to work independently or in a team environment* Comfortable working under minimal supervision* Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable* Flexibility to work overtime as needed* Able to pass a standardized color blindness testAt Labcorp we have a passion in helping people live happy and healthy lives. This class has multiple openings and will start on Monday, August 31st, 2026. Training hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00am-4:30pm CST; after training shifts do change. Our department is open Monday-Friday 8:00am CST- 9:00pm CST, and Saturdays from 9:00am CST - 3:00pm CST. Key Accountabilities • Customer Service experience in a Healthcare related setting preferred • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Able to deliver high quality service to Medica's members • Ability to interact with the team and support each other in dealing with customer issues • Advanced ability to multi task and manage time efficiently is needed • An ability to identify process improvements, provide mentor and peer feedback, and develop knowledge of multiple products and platforms • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and respond well to a rapidly changing industry and operational environment Required Qualifications • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent; equivalent work experience will be considered in lieu of educational requirement • 2+ years of customer service experience Schedules after training vary based on business need and may include: • 8:00am-5:00pm • 9:00am-5:30pm • 9:30am-6:00pm • 10:00am-6:30pm CST (shift differential incentives are offered for this later shift) • 10:30am-7:00pm CST (shift differential incentives are offered for this later shift) • 11:30am-8:00pm CST (shift differential incentives are offered for this later shift) • 12:00pm- 8:30pm CST (shift differential incentives are offered for this later shift) • 12:30pm-9:00pm CST (shift differential incentives are offered for this later shift) • *Schedules may include Saturday shifts from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm based on business needs.* This position is a Remote role. The full salary grade for this position is $34,100 - $53,200. While the full salary grade is provided, the typical hiring salary range for this role is expected to be between $33,300 - $41,370. Annual salary range placement will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, education, work experience, applicable certifications and/or licensure, the position's scope and responsibility, internal pay equity and external market salary data. In addition to base compensation, this position may be eligible for incentive plan compensation in addition to base salary.
