Dental Hygienist Dental Professionals Full-Time Schedule: Monday - Thursday 7:30am-5:00pm and Fridays 7:30am-1:00pm Why Dental Professionals? With the support of a practice manager, a highly trained team on site, coupled with a vast network of experts across the nation, you'll be completely connected to all the resources and support of Heartland Dental. • Join a 13 person team that thrives on collaboration, communication and community Minimum Qualifications • Current dental hygienist license in Iowa and an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required) • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation • CPR Certification Preferred Experience • New gradutes and experienced hygienists are encouraged to apply! • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems • Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health • Clinical needs as required by office Physical Requirements • Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation. This is a standard requirement for dental office roles and must be completed prior to starting employment. Responsibilities: • Manages team members by leading and executing plant processes. • Manages team members in attaining production and quality goals. • Ensures appropriate resources (including materials, equipment, and staffing needs) are available to maintain production schedules. • Supports continuous improvement processes to ensure that goals in safety, quality, cost, and customer service are met. • Creates and maintains an engaged and team-oriented workforce to improve business results. • Team Leaders are usually“on their feet” in the production area about 80% of the shift.
