Join us on behalf of the Working Class Majority Pac. We are looking for Field Directors to talk to voters about an independent candidate's run for Senate in Nebraska's upcoming election. If you believe that real political power is built from the ground up through deep organizing and face-to-face conversations, we want you on our team in Nebraska. The Field Director is expected to train canvassers in the field while canvassing themselves to lead by example; they must also communicate long and short-term goals to staff and manage campaign reporting. The Field Director manages canvassers and Team Leads and reports to the Lead Director. Additionally, the Lead Campaign Director will manage a team of one or more Deputy Directors and will be responsible for building an office to scale from the ground up. The Lead Director position reports to the Project Director, and the Deputy Director position reports to the Lead Director. Locations: Nebraska City and Fremont, NE. Preference for local candidates. Canvass Management Responsibilities: • Manage a team of 40–60 hourly staff who will canvass door to door to talk to community members about local clean energy storage projects and build community support for a reliable, affordable energy future • Canvass yourself several days a week to train staff and drive office goals • Set goals and hold staff accountable to them • Train and provide ongoing motivation and support to staff • Identify, promote, and train a leadership team • Build a diverse team where staff feel respected while fostering a culture of equity and justice • Implement quality control measures to ensure the integrity of the work • Maintain a healthy and safe working environment for all staff • Develop strategic plans to reach targeted constituents in assigned locations • Manage administrative duties, including reporting data, record keeping, processing payroll, and distribution of materials Qualifications: Must Have: • Leadership experience; ability to motivate, grow, and manage a large team • Eagerness to lead from the front and canvass several days a week • Extreme attention to detail and a proven ability to instill that quality in others • Self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills • Strong passion for community organizing and fostering civic engagement • Track record of equity and inclusion • Ability to work long hours, including evenings and weekends Nice to Have: • Experience running paid canvasses or managing paid employees • Familiarity with VAN and MiniVAN • Experience working in underserved or marginalized communities • Facilitation experience • Local knowledge/experience The salary range for this position is $1,146 – $1,500 per week. We offer a generous benefits package, including paid vacation and sick leave, health insurance, and hands-on training. Responsibilities and Activities: • Generate Leads: Identify new clients through door-to-door outreach, networking, and referrals. • Convert Issued Leads: Marketing will provide various lead types through internal and external channels. Leads are supplemental to your generated efforts. • Conduct Roof/Exterior Inspections: Assess properties for storm damage and overall exterior diagnosis to identify and establish need, measure project areas, and document the condition of materials. • Educate Homeowners: Explain and build value in our products and services, our brand, discuss the insurance claims process or retail pricing with financing, ensuring the customer understands their exterior home solution options. • Build Relationships: Establish and maintain strong client connections to drive satisfaction and generate referrals. • Monitor Sales Performance: Identify market opportunities, track progress, and share updates with internal team and Branch Sales Leadership • Solve Problems: Address client concerns to ensure seamless experience from inspection to installation. Qualifications: • 1-2+ years full cycle sales experience with a proven track record preferred • 1-2 years' experience using CRM (Service Titan, Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 preferred • Valid driver's license, reliable and insured vehicle; working availability to include evenings/weekends. • Excellent communication, negotiation, time management and organizational skills • Self-directed, coachable, resilient and motivated by performance-based compensation • Comfortable with outdoor field work and using mobile apps, mobile device for photos/notes/lead entries.
