Sales Manager Identify potential accounts to target and actively secure new customers as per defined criteria to meet/exceed agreed annual targets Achieve a high win percentage of the new business awards while generating high GP margins Develop current customers through building relationships, presenting capabilities/solutions, implementation support, and account management Actively drive commercial negotiations and close deals Support and contribute to meeting/exceeding business sales targets Consult with several levels of decision-makers to understand customers' business challenges and logistics goals Attend or lead sales meetings, customer workshops, and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) for existing key warehousing accounts Apply and receive regional and global tenders and coordinate as account owner with regional tender teams Close coordination with other internal stakeholders such as the Operations team, solutions design, support functions, etc. to set selling price strategies for all assigned customer tenders Managing opportunities and risks while securing the interests of Rhenus Ensure all sales activities are properly reported within the CRM System Understand the logistics market and key account developments Ensure the company achieves and maintains contracts and improves revenue and profit while balancing customer requirements and ensuring contracts are commercially positive Improve the company's professional image and raise the company's awareness in the market Support development and preparation of sales and marketing material for warehousing and transport sales Collect necessary information to assess creditworthiness and help enforce agreed payment terms Support finance team in resolving issues in payment collection especially when these issues are commercial related or customers' unwillingness to pay What You Bring: 5+ years of Sales Experience in Contract Logistics (Warehouse and Transportation) Experience in solution designing and an analytical mindset will be advantageous Excellent Knowledge of the logistics industry Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including presentation ability Deep understanding of how sales work in multinational and multicultural global business environments Ability to work in a diversified/ global Team, strong work ethic, and integrity Sales driven, and eager to spend time in front of potential clients Willing to work with a sales target and an expectation of growth Strong working knowledge of MS Office, specifically Excel (advanced), and PowerPoint

Required Qualifications • Must reside in the state of Illinois • Must possess reliable transportation and be willing and able to travel up to 40% of the time from candidate home location.
