This position is responsible for loading, transporting and delivering propane to our residential and commercial customers using a bobtail truck (3,000 - 5,000 gallon capacity). A Class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements is required for this role. This position also requires excellent communication skills, a positive attitude in the face of challenges, and the ability to execute on identified solutions. Above all else, personal safety and the safety of our customers must take on the highest priority. Shipping Delivery Driver This role supports the shipping and receiving department by safely delivering finished products to local customers and performing warehouse operations. The position combines box truck driving with inventory handling and forklift operation, ensuring accurate,timely, and efficient movement of goods. Responsibilities • Drive a box truck to deliver finished products to local customers in a safe and timely manner. • Work in the shipping and receiving department to support daily operational activities. • Perform inventory counting based on purchase orders prior to delivery to ensure accuracy. • Load and unload trailers and trucks as needed using a sit-down forklift and other appropriate equipment. • Use the computer-based inventory system to enter, update, and verify inventory numbers and shipment details. • Handle shipping and receiving tasks, including staging, labeling, and organizing outgoing and incoming products. • Balance duties with approximately 50% of the time spent driving and 50% loading and handling inventory with a sit-down forklift. • Follow all safety procedures and company policies related to driving, forklift operation, and warehouse activities. • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the truck, loading areas, and warehouse spaces. • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding delivery schedules, inventory discrepancies, and operational issues.
