Responsibilities • Drive a box truck to deliver finished products to local customers in a safe and timely manner. • Work in the shipping and receiving department to support daily operational activities. • Perform inventory counting based on purchase orders prior to delivery to ensure accuracy. • Load and unload trailers and trucks as needed using a sit-down forklift and other appropriate equipment. • Use the computer-based inventory system to enter, update, and verify inventory numbers and shipment details. • Handle shipping and receiving tasks, including staging, labeling, and organizing outgoing and incoming products. • Balance duties with approximately 50% of the time spent driving and 50% loading and handling inventory with a sit-down forklift. • Follow all safety procedures and company policies related to driving, forklift operation, and warehouse activities. • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the truck, loading areas, and warehouse spaces. • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding delivery schedules, inventory discrepancies, and operational issues.
